Frank Gore active for 49ers vs. Texans

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore is active and will play today against the Houston Texans.

Gore had just one carry in the 49ers' Week 3 game against the Vikings before leaving with an injury, and he hasn't played since. But he's now healthy and ready to go. The last time he played a game healthy, Week 2 against the Seahawks, he ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns.

Also active for the 49ers is rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree, making his NFL debut. Crabtree will start, but it's not clear how much he'll get involved in the 49ers' passing game.

NFL.com has all the rest of the inactives for the 49ers and Texans.
