After trailing 21-0 at the half, the San Francisco 49ers have stormed back against the Texans.
The Niners currently trail by only three points, 24-21.
All three San Fran touchdowns came via touchdown passes from Alex Smith to tight end Vernon Davis, with the 49ers heavily using the spread formation that made Smith the first overall pick in the 2005 draft.
Win or lose, the Niners might have found a way to pump life into their stagnant offense.
This is a great come back by Alex Smith. However the big story is whether number 83 of the Vikings intentionally knocked over a ref on a kick off run back, after being called for a mysterious tripping call that negated a touchdown by the Vikes.
I certainly saw 83 move in the directions of the ref and extend his arms after contact. While the tripping call was absolutely brutal, taking physical retribution on a ref should get 83 kicked out of the league forever.
Isn’t it a plus Alex Smith stayed to get reps and get Crabtree acclimated to the game now?
King Joe, are you a Penguins fan too? Or is there just something in the water in Pittsburgh that makes everyone who lives there a moron?
mustbechris – Did you even see the game, or does your mom’s trailer not get tv? If you can point to a specific fact that I am wrong on, I will never post again. However, I guess you will have to wait until you can walk to a place with a tv.
Crabtree looked surprisingly good for jumping right into things.
kingjoe, loved the Kanye impersonation. Terrific.
Cant wait to see what Deion has to say about his boyfriends first game
