Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford is saying “later” to the Sooners.
After playing in only two games after opting not to enter the 2009 draft, Bradford will undergo surgery to repair the shoulder that was injured in the first game in September and reinjured in his return earlier this month.
Bradford, the 2008 Heisman winner, also will enter the 2010 draft, if the rehab proceeds as expected.
Bradford was scheduled to talk about his future at a press conference earlier this week, but he decided not to go through with an event that ESPN was planning to televise live.
Maybe Bradford was concerned that he’d get slammed onto his shoulder again, given his two prior experiences on national television.
Where does this put him in the draft?
2nd round? later?
Guess I would take him for my sorry ass Brownies in the second or third.
What does this do to his draft prospects?
2nd? 3rd? later?
I’d take him in the 2nd for my sorry ass Brownies.
What part of Pro Football Talk do you not understand??
It will be interesting to see how many millions his extra year at Oklahoma will end up costing him and his family.
I think his coach… and the people close to him… need to be taken out and horsewhipped.
Mark Sanchez got $50,000,000.
Why the hell would ESPN have to make an event out of something that could be done in one paragraph ?
Hey Bob!
What part of “Florio owns this blogg and can write about anything he wants on it regardless of what he calls it” don’t you understand.
Now go watch ESPN and come back when you’ve learned to behave..
Helloooooooo Mr. Irrellevant!
The nightmare has begun.
“And in their first pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the Washington Redskins select….”
