Colts QB Peyton Manning tied Warren Moon for fourth place on the list of most completions, but fell short of a sixth-straight 300-yard game because the game didn't require much throwing.

Said Colts DE Dwight Freeney, "We are playing really well together. The secondary, the linebackers, the defensive line, it's like a functioning wave. We are playing off each other and we have a lot of confidence right now."

Rookie Colts CB Jacob Lacey picked off a pass and returned it 35 yards for his first NFL touchdown and then picked up a penalty for his celebration.

Rams RB Steven Jackson wanted no part of compliments for his season-high 134 rushing yards.

Said Rams QB Marc Bulger, "I'm not into describing things. We got our butts kicked and it was simple as that."

A matchup with Freeney did not go well for Rams rookie T Jason Smith.
