Patriots-Buccaneers one-liners

QB Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes and the Patriots cruised to a 35-7 victory at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Patriots S Brandon Meriweather had two interceptions and returned one for a touchdown to open up the scoring.

The Patriots offensive line struggled with both penalties and protection for Brady.

LB Adalius Thomas had one tackle in his return to the Patriots lineup after spending last week as a healthy scratch.

Wide receivers Sam Aiken and Brandon Tate, pressed into action by Julian Edelman’s injury, each made big plays for the Patriots offense.

Said Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris, “It was really a lot of fun. There were a whole bunch of different chants I haven’t heard before and we saw beach balls and the wave. This was old school fun football and it was good to be a part of it despite the loss.”

Interceptions by S Tanard Jackson and CB Aqib Talib didn’t lead to anything due to Buccaneers offensive breakdowns.

WR Antonio Bryant scored the Buccaneers’ only touchdown on a 33-yard pass from Josh Johnson.

Buccaneers LB Barrett Ruud missed a tackle on Aiken’s second-quarter touchdown catch.

Martin Fennelly of the Tampa Tribune thinks it is time for the Buccaneers to start QB Josh Freeman.

Pff, damn Patriots and their stat padding and score running up. One INT for a TD wasn’t enough. Meriweather had to go and intercept Johnson’s next pass too, and what does he do? Go to his knee like a classy player? NOOOO! He tries to score again! Outrageous.
A classy organization like the Colts, after a guy intercepts a pass, every other chance he has for an INT, he either intentionally bats it down, or catches it and hands it to the intended receiver and then pats him on the helmet.

Please don’t link to Martin Fennelly columns. Not since Paris Hilton started blogging have I ever seen such an assault on sentence and paragraph structure. How many one-sentence paragraphs can an article have?

hands down, the stupidest post of all time.

You’ve clearly never read any of the comments that inspired that parody.

That witless rant was neither inspired, or a parody.

Again, you must not have read the comments about how the Patriots were classless for running up scores, and Peyton Manning never does that.

For what it’s worth, I enjoyed TFBF’s comment. I don’t post often, but I do see a bunch of whiny Pats haters out there that post often. Apparently, the more one posts, the more one feels his intellect has increased. Well, from reading many of these posts, the author of certain comments is either 15 years old or simply lacking in any sort of reasonable judgement. It’s a game that we have no control over, but we root for the local team or the team that Dad or Granddad rooted for. Win or lose, the haters come to blast the Pats and their fans because it must make the size of their genitalia seem a little bit larger. Well, keep on posting the hate, as it is your American right to do so; however, I do suggest taking a deep breath (and perhaps some mood-enhancing medication) before you write. The hate just makes you look like a bitter a$$h0le.

    Hey TFBF -
That was funny as hell man. I could smell the sarcasm from here.
    Lusdauwg -
Dude I would have a hard time saying it any better.
GO PATS (and haters, please, just go away….)

I wonder if he realizes that his team just traveled all the way across the Atlantic to get their asses handed to them. This guy is clearly not cut out to be an NFL head coach
