The Rams’ third-round rookie Bradley Fletcher was getting valuable experience during the last three games as the team’s starting cornerback.
He learned Monday that he won’t get any more experience in 2009 because of ligament damage suffered against the Colts Sunday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Fletcher wasn’t the only starter the Rams will be missing in Week Nine.
Long snapper Chris Massey will also miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury, while starting right guard Richie Incognito is expected this week’s game with a foot sprain.
The Rams head to Detroit Sunday for the Stupor Bowl, hoping to end a 17-game losing streak. St. Louis has been outscored 211-60 this season.
Report: Rams lose remainder of season’s games
“Seriously”, Does it really matter.!!!!!!
Ahh, the memories. Marshall Faulk. Mike Martz. Kurt Warner. Issac and Torry. The Orlando Pace of legend. Superbowls. When 60 points were possible per game, not per half-season.
Rams and Lions play this weekend? That could be ugly.
A serious blow to the great secondary of the Rams. I feel like this could really put their great season in jeopardy. What a shame…
The Saints play these guys in three week. THAT could be ugly. The Rams vs Detroit game may be entertaining. The game against the Saints should be over as soon as the Saints plane lands at the airport.
