Speaking as someone who grew up with and still has a great friendship with a “Parcells guy” who has been with Bill since the 1980′s…I can tell you the only name player Jerry Jones ever clashed with Bill on during the draft was in the 2003 draft when Jones wanted Terrance Newman. Because Newman reminded Jones so much of Deion Sanders. While Bill wanted Carolina tackle Jordan Gross and wanted to trade down with either New Orleans or Jacksonville to get him.

The call resulted in a 6 point swing. I still haven’t seen the video of it, but I’ve seen Vikings fans cry about it and non-Vikings fans on both sides.
But contrary your opinion, that call did not require Favre to turnover the ball on the next play.

Parcells wanted Spears, not Ware. Jerry over-rode Parcells and took Ware then when Spears was still there we took him second. Parcells did not want Ware.
