Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has gained more yards from scrimmage than Brandon Jacobs this season despite 40 fewer carries and a cracked bone in his foot.
Concerned about the injury, Bradshaw went to see a foot specialist Thursday. The doctor told him what the Giants doctors have all season: that Bradshaw can play through the injury.
Bradshaw will continue to rest as much as possible during the week -- his work is limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday -- and play on Sundays. At some point, the crack will turn into a full-blown fracture or he'll get it fixed in the offseason.
"I just plan on going out there and giving my all. If it breaks, it
does and I'll get surgery. If not, I'll wait until the end of the
season. Hopefully, then I won't need it. But more than likely, I'll
plan on having surgery," Bradshaw said Thursday.
The Giants have already lost rookie Andre Brown for the season, and Bradshaw plays a crucial role as a change of pace behind Jacobs.

Is Ware, in fact, lost for the season? Last word was that he was rehabbing his dislocated elbow.
Thanks.
this dude is dumb, your body is your lively hood, shut it down now and get it fixed. What happens if you damage it to the point that you cant play anymore then what, then that truck driving job awaits you, then your second guessing your self until your 70
@erstwhiledoc: Ware is getting healthier, and may play as soon as this weekend.
@kenyatta: he's looking for a new contract. And it's just a small bone in his foot. The thing could fall off completely and it wouldn't hamper his career.
Ware practiced the last 2 weeks fully and was active last week for the AZ game.
yeah where is all the danny ware news, I could have sworn yahoo said last week he practiced a little however I dont see that article anymore.....
"Dr" Kenyetta, I hope you know more about podiatry than you do about the English language.
Same Giants doctors this season said it was alright for Kenny Phillips to play 2 games on his known bad knee injury. Which successfully broke him down!
Idiot.....get a cast on it now...sit out 6 weeks then come back
