We previously mentioned that Pats quarterback Tom Brady has been named AFC offensive player of the month. We didn’t mention at the time the winners of the defensive and special teams version of the award, since the news about Brady came from the Patriots.
And so it has since been announced by the NFL that Steelers linebacker James Harrison and Broncos receiver Eddie Royal, respectively, are the AFC defensive and special teams players of the month.
Harrison made 25 tackles, notched seven sacks, and forced two fumbles in four straight October wins.
Royal racked up 292 return yards and two touchdowns — in the same game — during three October games for the 6-0 Broncos. Denver kicker Matt Prater was the special teams player of the month for September.
Posting the media releases of the NFL may technically qualify as news. How about finding a story, and, you know, doing research?
…well, keep it up – love’im all you want – brady’ll be washin’ DREW BREES’ JOCK by the end of the season – pom my @$$!!!
I wonder if prmpft thinks Drew Brees should be player of the month? Brady, the three time Super Bowl Champ, who has won playoff games and for the Season has 15 touchdowns and 4ints, passing for 2032 yards. OR Drew Brees 14 touchdowns 5ints, passing for 1,698 yards. Is it Brees’ 1-2 playoff record that is going to make Brady’s 14-3 record make Brady “wash Brees jock strap? Hmmmm, or because Brees’ is on a hot start again, like always with nothing really to show for it, that Brees’ is better. Hmmm? I dont know who will be washing who’s jock strap. The guy who has proven it, and is still proving he is the best, or the guy who hasnt proved it, and is trying to prove it?
And who is the NFC players of the month? Jason Campbell? The Redskins O-line?
James Harrison is just another Squeelers criminal the type the league adores…as usual, no real men, just over androgenized thugs….
