As the Eagles prepare for the front end of an epic New York-Philly football-baseball doubleheader, running back Brian Westbrook has missed a second straight day of practice due to a concussion.
Westbrook was knocked out Monday night in a game against the Redskins, and his availability reportedly will be determined by a game-time decision.
Receiver DeSean Jackson, who missed practice Wednesday with a foot injury suffered on Monday night, was able to fully participate on Thursday. Safety Macho Harris, who missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury, also missed practice on Thursday.
For the Giants, running back Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle, foot) missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday, along with cornerback Aaron Ross (hamstring).
But defensive tackle Chris Canty (calf) was able to practice on Thursday on a limited basis, as was linebacker Antonio Pierce (ankle).
Tackle Kareem McKenzie, who missed Sunday night’s loss to the Cardinals with a groin injury, fully participated in practice on Thursday after practicing Wednesday on a limited basis.
“Westbrook misses another day of practice”
Scrambled eggs man….. take your time brother!
Hope his head is okay after the concussion.

Well, look on the bright side: Westbrook will forget all of this in ten years anyway.
Actually it will probly happen a little sooner then that. Brian Westbrook has on multiple occasions missed a full week of practice but then played in the following game. This time however, because he suffered a head injury, Andy Reid and team doctors want to see him on the field before he is cleared to play. So it pretty much comes down to tomorrow. If Westbrook can’t go on Friday its likely he won’t play this week versus the Giants.
If history means anything, there are two ways this could go. First, Westbrook sits and McCoy runs for 150 yards and two TDs. Second, Westbrook starts and runs for 175 YDs and 3 TDs

And Eagurls lose 45-14 or 45-21.
I’m sorry, what were the scores of the last two Eagles-Giants games?
All I seem to remember is McNabb picking up the Giants sideline phone to tell them “Good luck next season”

I’m sure he’s doing better than Tony’s yeast infection.

He’s not going to play. This is a smoke screen and not a very good one. Shady gets the start.
with the congress grilling all the nfl employees about brain damage from football,do you think it’s a good idea to play westbrook?you know, because everybody is watching.
when westbrook left the field last sunday, the guy did not look good, obviously concussed.
Again with the lame “Eagurls”…..shouldn’t it be Eagals!? Seriously dude, learn how to talk trash. Likewise, the Vick thing is a bit played out now, don’t you have something else at this point?
Last time the eagles played the giants who won? Playoffs anybody?
