Cowboys defender Jay Ratliff should play

A late week addition to the injury report is never a good sign, but it looks like Cowboys Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jay Ratliff will play against the Seahawks Sunday.

ESPN’s Matt Mosley quotes a team source that would be “shocked” if Ratliff didn’t suit up against the Seahawks Sunday.  Cowboys coach Wade Phillips wasn’t as revealing to the press, but we wouldn’t expect him to be.

With either the Giants or Eagles set to have three losses, Sunday’s game is a great opportunity for the Cowboys to move ahead of one team in the NFC East race.  The Cowboys are coming off their best performance of the season, and will try to display something missing in Dallas since the 2007 season: consistency.
