Berrian is active for Vikings

Earlier today, John Czarnecki of FOXSports.com reported that Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian won’t play Sunday due to a hamstring injury.

And while it remains theoretically possible that Berrian won’t play, he’ll at least be wearing a uniform as he stands on the sidelines.

Per Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Berrian is active.

Even though Berrian hasn’t become Brett Favre’s favorite target in purple, Berrian plays a key role in the West Coast offense via his ability to run deep routes and clear out a corner and maybe a safety, opening up the underneath routes that have been a staple of the Minnesota version of the attack under Favre.
