In the first half of a high-stakes football-baseball doubleheader in Philly, the Eagles are all over the Giants.
It's 13-0 with fewer than four minutes gone in the game.
The first score came on a 41-yard run (we think he was running) by fullback Leonard Weaver.
Then, the man who dropped an interception that would have sealed a Super Bowl win and a 19-0 season for the Patriots in 2007 with a pickoff of Eli Manning didn't drop the ball this time around, making the pick and returning it inside the ten.
Three plays later, Donovan McNabb found Brent Celek down the middle for a touchdown pass. The extra point was blocked, by the damage already is done.

Well, it is proved yet again that the Eagles are MUCH better than the Giants and McNabb is much better than Eli.
I cannot wait to hear the excuses. Osi was there and the defense was rebuilt. They looked so damn slow. I am not sure how it played on tv but from the stands you could see Leonard Weaver running away from their linebackers and d-backs. Leonard Weaver! A Fullback!!! Man, they are slow.

I've been saying it for how long, since like Week 2 - the Giants are overrated, they don't matchup well against the Eagles (injuries or no injuries). Bring on Tony Ohno and the terrible Dallas secondary.
And I told you I could hear it already .."and it is INTERCEPTED BY ASANTE SAMUEL". Oh and apparently Diehl is allowed to do blatent holds on Trent Cole all day long; I just hope Cole isn't injured next week when Falsestart Adams starts tripping him since he has no chance of blocking the Beast that is Trent Cole.

Smush, you're right, i had the pleasure of watching their D on TV and in person. They need to calm down with the pierce loyalty, he is a mutt, he has been slow for the last 3 seasons but now he is taking it to a whole new level. CC brown has new business being in the NFL and they did a horrid job at wrapping guys up. They have 4 starters out on D and no one is getting more abused than brown is replaced phillips after he went down for the yr. There hasnt been one mention of that until finally yesterday Johnston said something. Mike boley is their best LB and fastest, but w pierce in the mix, it really doesnt make a diff. As a giant fan it frustrates me bc people still think he's good, and he is garbage. You guys knew all the weak points and executed, the quick drives attacking where the coverage was lacking. Anyone on this post could have made samuels pick. Travis Beckum comes out for one play a game, that dumb route, as soon as he got out there you guys knew it was coming and jumped the route. atrocious play calling and you guys capitalized. Years past that would have ruined my day, it did until 8pm, id trade in a ws win for a regular season win any day of the week, our next game vs you guys i dont have that luxury.
