Favre finds the end zone

Though he hadn’t done much in the passing game on the Vikings’ various first-quarter drives, quarterback Brett Favre fired up his right arm on the team’s first drive of the second quarter, completing all five passes he attempted.

The last one resulted in a 12-yard touchdown to tight end Visanthe Shiancoe.

For the game, Favre has completed eight of nine passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.

Minnesota leads at Lambeau, 14-3.

Could it be that Ted Thompson brought back Ahman Green just to secure Ted’s name to a statistic (all-time Packer’s leading rusher) because he knows he’s within days or weeks (maybe 8) from getting a pink slip…

Favre is 40 but Rodger’s body must feel like 50 right now. Time for Shannon Sharpe to call in the National Guard……Geez, Rodgers may retire before Favre at this rate. Hope he realizes soon he can throw the ball away sometimes. Maybe some turnovers will put them back in the game.

I hope to god you’re right. If we don’t see a miraculous turnaround in the 2nd half, Thompson needs to be gone TOMORROW. Enough is enough, no need to wait until the end of the season.
Where you at, Supersuck? I dare you to try and defend your white-haired idol NOW…

    “Karen Rodgers”
    I can’t believe you actually call this trash-talking. Changing a guy’s name into a girl’s. What are you, 5? 5 1/2??
and Rodgers is better then Favre, hands down because I gurantee Favre will not keep this performance up thru the rest of the season.

There are, but you have to find a different website if you want to read about them. In case you can’t tell, Florio is a die-hard Vikings fan, and he doesn’t have time for “other games” when one this significant for his favorite franchise is being played.
