Earlier this week, Vikings fullback Fahu Tahi suggested during an appearance on Sporting News Radio that receiver Percy Harvin missed practice Thursday not because of an illness other than migraine headaches.
And now Tahi will miss Sunday’s game despite being listed as probable.
Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Tahi is inactive, and Jensen believes that the scratch of Tahi traces to his comments about Harvin.
“Childress makes it clear to players not to talk about their own injuries, let alone those of others,” Jensen writes.
When a player listed as probable does not play, the team is required at a minimum to explain the decision to the league office.
The other inactives for the Vikings are cornerback
Antoine Winfield, running back Albert Young, center Jon Cooper,
receiver Darius Reynaud, defensive end Jayme Mitchell, and defensive
tackle Letroy Guion. Sage Rosenfels once again is the third quarterback.
Who???
Good. Now Mrs. Childress won’t be able to throw stupid 2 yard passes to him.
That was way harsh Thai
