For the second straight week, Buffalo Bills wide receiver/kick returner Roscoe Parrish is on the inactive list as the Bills' third quarterback.
It's an odd role for an athletic playmaker who has fallen out of favor in Buffalo. Parrish can play in the fourth quarter if the
Bills want him, but if he plays before that, neither starting quarterback Ryan
Fitzpatrick nor backup Gibran Hamdan can play the rest of the game.
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards is inactive with a concussion.
As we previously noted, wide receiver Andre Johnson will play for the Texans.
The full list of inactives is available at NFL.com.

"........an athletic playmaker"
What? Apparently, I'm thinking of the wrong Roscoe Parrish.
Sounds like the above quote was copied from the University of Miami bio.
It's not that stunning. Parrish played quarterback in high school and apparently has lined up in Wild Cat formation in some Bills practices.
The other options for emergency QB for Buffalo are Josh Reed and Fred Jackson, each of which is already active and probably won't be any more effective in the role.
