With the Bills leading by a point and driving for a touchdown late in the first half of their game against the Texans, receiver Terrell Owens did what he has been doing all too often.
He dropped a pass.
This one came in the end zone, on a play that would have boosted the Buffalo lead to 14-6.
Moments later, CBS showed clips of multiple Owens drops during his first season in Buffalo.
Buffalo leads 10-6 at the half.
In fairness to Owens, he scored the game’s only touchdown on a 29-yard end around.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the play is that, when the ball was handed to him, he didn’t drop it.
He’s just keepin’ it real.
I don’t know why everyone is saying dropped. It was tipped away.
Did he go trick or treating last night? All I see are his Butterfingers. (Ok, I’m done with the stupid jokes)
Hey Florio, get it right buddy. Watch the replay and you will see the defender got his hand on that ball. The halftime analysts said it was a poorly thrown ball due to the amount of time Owens had to wait for it and slow down. This one was not a dropped pass!
I bet TO could carry your nerdbucket better than you could carry a football.
All that matters is that he has the key to the city of Buffalo.
Or did he drop that too?
What are you talking about? Did you even see the pass?
It floated up there forever and the defender broke it up when it hit TO’s hands.
I like how everyone wants to criticize TO about everything and even make up stuff. As a few other people stated, the ball floated and the defenders arms were in there. Criticize the whole team and not just TO. They are horrible. Hopefully this bye week brings a new coach.
But that’s only half the story.
What did Roy Williams do today ?!? (if he dropped 2, T.O. had a good day !)
Like other commenters i wouldn’t call that one a drop.
Ok, so he has dropped a few, he has also, you know, NOT dropped 140 other touchdown passes.(second only Jerry Rice by the way)
But sure, let’s all pretend like he’s not a good player and maybe fred mitchell or some other more deserving guy can make the hall of fame instead.
