As the Seahawks struggled through another Sunday loss, FOX cameras caught images of receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh yelling in frustration.
And if it looked like he wasn't really talking to anybody, it's because he wasn't.
"I was talking to nobody," Houshmandzadeh said, per the Tacoma News Tribune. "I was just talking out loud to anybody who wanted to listen . . . nobody in particular."
Regarding the 21-point loss to the Cowboys, Houshmandzadeh said, "I am stunned. It is frustrating for me . . . period."
Through seven games with the Seahawks after spending eight years with the Bengals, Houshmandzadeh has 35 catches for 383 yards and two touchdowns.
Before the season, he guaranteed a top-five receiving season, a playoff berth, and a Pro Bowl.
Well, um, none out of three ain't bad.
Wait, it is bad.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are 2-5 and sinking and the Bengals are 5-2 and in line for the franchise's first playoff berth in four years.
Houshmandzadeh is getting more and more frustrated

Guess he's gonna be pretty pissed about his Madden rating next year.
Well, I hope you're enjoying the few extra millions you got in Seattle, Doushmandzadeh. We sure as hell don't miss you in Minnesota.
He is? What about me and all the other chumps that drafted him to win a fantasy championship!
I'm becoming more and more frustrated at this guy becoming more and more of a deuch.
Douchemanzadeh will never change, once a douche-bag always a douche-bag....
Houshmandzadeh=not good. Hard to get open when you don't have Ocho and Chris Henry taking all the coverage away. I think he owes those two most of that ridiculous contract he got.
The Seahawks mad the mistake of not trading for Ochocinco too so he could draw the doubles and let Houshmandzadeh pad his stats with 12 yard catches on third and 18.
Ya know, I hear the coffee is better in Seattle than in Minny.
And, ya know, the grunge music.
I can't think of anything else.
Oh, wait! Ya, you got more money, too, so, there ya go!
At least this off-season they won't be doing TV ads for fantasy football mispronouncing your name and stuff.
They'll probably say, " I select HARBIN, champion!"
TJ..the grass isn't always (neon) greener. Bad move, you left Cincy few just a few bucks more. You were offered a verrry good contract in Cincy but you had to feel your oats. Have fun eating granola in Seattle. Andre Caldwell is a beast and it's like you never left, he filled up those shoes fine!
Maybe he shouldn't have stood up the Vikings!!!
T.J.'s mouth is making promises his talent can't keep! He'd be well served to take Seattle's $$$ and shut up!
Just another Prima Dona Wide Receiver.
Another Diva.
TJ = Lindsey Lohan
Is this guy EVER happy????
What exactly did Housh do or say here to make everyone trash on him so badly? His team is losing and he's not doing much to help them win. Of course he's frustrated. I would think much less of him if he had a "what do I care? I already got paid" attitude. As for how he predicted the season would go, yeah, make fun of that all you want. But, what was he supposed to say? "I really think we're gonna suck this season"?
Ho-ush was a bad a$$ in the nati and we hated to see him go at the time, but all of us knew he would amount to squat in seattle of all places. Qb is old and not very good and just a matter of time before the little cry baby came out. He owes a lot to ocho. He's a pretty good WR, but no way in hell is he a #1. Have fun for the next 2 years putting up with your WR cancer in the clubhouse.
The even better part about this is he told Bengals coaches and players that he would re-sign with the team and then acted like it didnt happen. He probly wishes now that he was a respectable man and stuck to his word. Because as of right now the Bengals have the 5th best record in the league(if you figure in divisional wins) and the Seahawks are going nowhere. Im so happy the Eagles don't listen to there fans or we would be the ones looking like idiots right now. With a guy in Houshmanzadeh who is to average, with to big a contract, and to a big mouth. While some other team would be benefiting from the talent that is Jeremy Maclin.
When your team has a decimated OL and no talent at RB, your QB is going to be under constant duress and you're game is going to suffer. Not to mention the fact that Seattle runs a "spread the wealth" style of offense that rarely keys in on one WR.
Doush, good to see you showing your true colors. Glad you decided you wanted to play for a winner....
I love that Housh is in Seattle. He keeps that coverage off of the real #1 WR there.
Nate Burleson.
BTW, as a Vikings fan, I too, like the fact he didnt sign here.
If he did, we wouldn't have been able to afford to sign Favre.
too funny I like how he's made Burleson better though
Thank God he snubbed us.
Housh could be 7-1 right now, instead he took more money....Housh was brought into Winter Park, wined and dined, but when Chilli had T. Jackson get on the phone, Housh became uninterested.
If #4 would've signed in April, Housh is a Viking. But on second thought, I am glad #4 couldn't decide, because #12 would not be a Viking. Looks like Chilli and Spielman have drafted two of the last three ROYs.
Hasselbeck over Palmer
Good Choice
Taking to yourself can get you thrown into a padded room with no windows, but that'll give you enough time to ponder to yourself what went wrong from Cincy to Seattle.
I don't care what Housh says, that Dugan catch was a TOUCHDOWN !!!
The reason those pesky fans didn't hound him for autographs like they did in Cincy is because perhaps the fans in Seattle had a felling about this guy (whiner and money grubbing premadonna, etc). Like I said before, he realized that he hitched his cart to the wrong horse. Beating that horse won't do any good. now he talks to himself. I wonder if he's as annoyed by his lonesome rants as he WAS by the fans that thought he gave two craps about anything but himself.
Hahahaha! Best article I've read in a long time. I bet he's regretting wanting out of cincy now. What a whiny bitch. Remember when everybody ripped the bengals for replacing him with Lav Coles? Coles has three Tds so far. T.J. Has two. He also said he wished the bengals would do bad this year. Bengals are 5-2, Seattle is 2-5. So glad this guy is gone. HE was the true distraction, not Ocho.
TJ,
Buy a Terrible Towel, sign it, send to The Allegheny School and ask for relief.
Any questions, talk to Lendale White.
It definitely sucks to be Housh the douche.
Mike, I think you made a typo ....
you wrote:
"Meanwhile, the Seahawks are 2-5 and sinking"
Are you sure you didn't mean to type:
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are 2-5 and stinking .?.?.
I really doubt "Housh the douche" cares. He has the cash, now he just needs to put in the time and make everyone around him as miserable as possible cus he isn't THE MAN.
Got to admit to being interested in douchmenzedah when there was a chance he'd sign with the vikes. Then i checked his madden stats and realized he'd suck (although not quite this bad).
if we had signed this fool, who's telling what favre would have done, and the way harvin is playing, where would he have played anyway? that kind of money for a #4 reciever is WAY, WAY too much.
bengals get better with Doushmandzadeh not there anymore. uh, coincidence we get better when hes gone and the seahawks get worse when hes there. glad hes gone. the guy crys on every play. trust me i watched him for 7 years do it. its like watchin a a 2 year old throw a fit when he dosnt have his way. when a fly lands on him he crys for a pass interference. hes madden rating should be 73 with a speed of 71 and pussy rating of 110
The curse of Myron Cope?
After the Bengals 2008 season, Marvin publicly made a list of every free agent he wanted Mike Brown to resign. He wanted Cedric Benson, Stacy Andrews, Chris Crocker, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Shayne Graham. We obviously didn't resign all of them but did you notice whose name was never mentioned by Coach Lew. Wonder why? I didn't then, I don't now
I am a Vikings fan who is loving every second of this. T.J. had an offer from the Vikings in the pre-season and not only turned them down but went on to say he wanted to go to Seattle for the passing game and chance at a Super Bowl. Saying the Vikings have no passing game so he signed with Seattle. 2 weeks later the Vikings signed Favre, lol, and today they are 7-1 and on the move towards Miami. Is their an idiot of the year award? If so this dumb ass deserves it.
Thank you Seattle for taking T.J. Because they took him the Vikings drafted Percey Harvin who is the offensive rookie of the year. The Vikings have drafted 2 of the last 3 offensive rookie of the year now. (after they officialy give Percey the award) Adrian Peterson in 2007 and Percey Harvin 2009. Thank you Seattle and T.J. for helping the Vikings continue to build a dynasty through the draft. lol
@ JSS84 - You took the words right out of my mouth! So glad Douche ended up there. Can't wait until we play them, take some of that money Zig spent on wine and dine the tool out on his ass!!! Bring Dave the Dude(Douche) fan idiot with you as well!!!
Who knows what Housh was thinking. He was talented, but more part of a system in CIN. I don't think he ever had the skill to be anything but a slot guy, and to go chirping about being top 5 and pro-bowl.... C'mon man.
Not only is he not talented enough to make those kind of claims, but he should of also thought about the team he was going to. They are barely talented enough to beat mediocre teams rather than make the playoffs.
What...nobody could read his lips when he was yelling? I did it for you..."Why I be leftin da Nati?", "Why Chicago ain't been hollerin' at me?" "Why I ain'ts a hollered at dem Vikings mo?" "Why I be gettins doule covered wit dis team, it ain'ts like I'ma be a good catcher here" "Why ain'ts I never learneded to talk English?"
Seriously though, why the hell does anybody care what this ghetto rat wanna be thinks or says anyway? Cincinnati, Minnesota, hell even Chicago are all better off without him. Only Seattle is in a worse situation now that they're stuck with him for a few years. They probably can't even afford to cut him, his contract is that big.
This kind of goes to show you that Ochocinco (what a jackass name) really wasn't the cancer there. Cincinnati is shining without him. Like stated earlier, Minnesota probably wouldn't have taken Harvin, but drafted Oher (he's gonna be really good), and not Loadholt (he may be just as good as Oher when all is said and done) in the second going a different direction. I think they can be very happy that he wasted their time in the off season.
good thing he passed up the chance to be a Viking to go to a crap team...idiot
Yeah a team that has been decimated with injuries using something like their fifth left tackle since the season started and you guys are saying it's Housh that is the problem? Yeah the Bengals are better this year but I think that might have something to do with a guy named Carson Palmer returning from an injury. Nah a pro bowl qb being out wouldn't make that much of a difference it would definitely have to be the #2 wr.
Oh How I love the Irony,
TJ didnt sign with my beloved vikings because he didnt feel that the QB situation was good enough. But look now, he is playing for one of the most overrated teams in the NFL...THey never speak of seattle as they do the bucs or lions, but really are they much different??? and he left the Bengals because he was tired of Mediocrity, but now they are pushing for a playoff birth there as well.....He could have been w the Purple having one of the Greatest QB's of all time tossing him the skin, now he is just a big fat T.U.R.D......
Thank you Douchemansade for not wanting to play with the Purple.....Harvin may have been overlooked and that would have been a greek tragedy........TOODLES LOSER!!!! Ochocinco made you who you were.....has been!!!
How do you feel about being in Seattle now rather than in Minnesota, Housh? Apparently, the Vikings didn't need you anyway. Thanks for the spurn, because it allowed them the freedom to draft Harvin.
