Jaguars-Titans one-liners

The Jaguars allowed 305 rushing yards, the worst total in franchise history, in their 30-13 loss to the Titans.

Said Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio, "The responsibility to have this football team prepared to play well falls on me. I take full responsibility."

Replacing Eugene Monroe with Tra Thomas at left tackle didn't do anything to improve the Jaguars' offensive line play.

Reggie Nelson typically plays safety, but started at cornerback in place of injured Rashean Mathis and wasn't up to the task.

Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew did his best to dodge questions about why his 22.8 yards per carry didn't result in more rushing attempts.

Titans RB Chris Johnson set a franchise record with 228 yards rushing and scored a pair of touchdowns.

Said Titans G Jake Scott of QB Vince Young, "Decision-making, that's what playing quarterback is all about. And he made good decisions the whole game. He wasn't trying to force things, and that's a good thing. He played a great game."

The Titans defense gave up a pair of big plays to Jones-Drew, but did a much better job against the pass than in their previous meeting with the Jaguars.

Titans DE Kyle Vanden Bosch picked up his first sack of the season.

Titans LB David Thornton said that the bye week gave the team a chance to reflect on what they needed to do to end their losing streak.

I would like a gender test to be taken by Reggie Nelson to prove he is in fact a male. I was suspecting he was a female after the first 6 games this year but what I saw yesterday confirmed he certainly has zero balls. Cut this guy immediately or don't play him. He went from being the starting FS to being the nickel back in nickel to starting at corner yesterday. This guy has sucked since day 1 both physically and mentally. The only thing worse than his play is a coaching staff that keeps running him out there.

Rebuilding is so cliche. That word is just an excuse that teams use to let everyone know we're really not good. A professional team gets paid to be professionals. What I saw yesterday was nothing of the sort. We are this close to losing this franchise in Jax and with performances like that how can you blame anyone for not buying a ticket. I'm a Jack Del Rio fan, but this coaching staff need to be gutted inside and out, especially the coordinaters.

Wayne Weaver, heed the word of a Jaguars loyal fan. We need to see something to get excited about. Please I beg of you, make signifcant changes this off season and put a championship product on the field and BELIEVE me people will come. We have the weapons. Bring a staff in and get your money's worth cause right now you're giving a coaching staff free money. Honest pay for an honest days work. The was NOTHING honest about yesterday.
