New Orleans Saints linebacker Scott Fujita and Atlanta Falcons running back Jerious Norwood are among the players listed as inactive for tonight's NFC South showdown.
Fujita, who has started five games this season, is sidelined for the second consecutive week with a calf injury. With starting defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis also out, the Saints' front seven is depleted.
But the Falcons' running game may not be able to take advantage of the Saints' depleted front seven, as both Norwood and running Jason Snelling are inactive. That means Falcons running back Michael Turner may get more carries than usual, and Falcons running back Aaron Stecker, a former Saint, will likely get some carries against his former team.
The other inactives for the Falcons are defensive tackle Thomas Johnson, offensive tackles Garrett Reynolds and Quinn Ojinnaka, cornerback Antoine Harris, linebacker Spencer Adkins and third quarterback John Parker Wilson.
The other inactives for the Saints are kicker Garrett Hartley, defensive backs Leigh Torrence and Chris Reis, running back Lynell Hamilton, center Nick Leckey and third quarterback Chase Daniel.
