T.J. Houshmandzadeh wasn’t the only Seahawks receiver to partake in some noteworthy honking Sunday in Dallas.
After Deion Branch scored his first touchdown of the year (on a gorgeous throw by Matt Hasselbeck), Branch ran to the television cameras and was heard saying, “Y’all come find me. Anybody who want me, come find me.”
Branch could have meant something different, but that sounds like the pleas of a player who wants to suit up elsewhere. The Seattle Times thought that it sounded like a “nationally televised classified ad for his receiving services.”
Seahawks coach Jim Mora had a different interpretation. “Sounds like a challenge to me,” Mora said. “Sounds like he’s competing
and challenging people to come cover him.”
Branch has struggled with injuries in Seattle, and is struggling to settle in as a third receiver, with only 130 yards on the season. Due $5.47 million next season, it would be a shock if Branch wasn’t found released in the offseason.
Another example of how a great QB can make a great WR. Without Brady this guy has been a bum.
Deon Branch will have season high numbers this week.
Start him in your fantasy league
its easy to find you Deion..you are on the waiver wire in just about every yahoo fantasy league!! LOL
Same game; Miles Austin told the camera, “watch my yankees tonight.”
Uh oh, sounds like he wants to quit football and play baseball for the yanks. oh no!
Branch is right. We do have to find him. We have to look really hard to find him. Because I don’t see him showing up in the boxscore very often.
Also, shouldn’t it be “Anybody who want(s) me”
In the excitement of the touchdown catch he may have just messed that up.
Wow. The only people that will find him is Matt Jones. They can watch football together next year.
Does this mean if Seattle cuts him after the season does Belichick come calling to him as his 3rd receiver? He knows the offense and he will have something to prove.
Hey Deon, you missing Tom Brady???
Hope you are enjoying all those crappy stats & non-existant post Patriot career while milking the Seahawks for millions…..
You had it all & got too greedy for your own good…ENJOY PERGATORY!!!!!!
This guy is worthless without Brady throwing to him. I bet this is a taunt to rival gangs or something.
Maybe the Raiders will find him. Id love to see him commiserating with Big Sey.
he clearly was talking to other teams, not defensive backs. mora is attempting to do damage control.
the sad reality is i can see seattle cutting branch after this year (too big of a contract, not enough production), and i could see the patriots signing him to a veteran minimum contract again, and getting a lot of good production from him.
one thing we’re all jealous of is the patriots ability to make anyone look good in their system, and the ability they have to offer players less money to play there in exchange for victory.
good for them. very well-run organization. they fleeced the hawks when they traded branch there in the first place.
Has anybody else noticed the Seahawks suck at finding receivers? Everyone they sign or draft really does nothing.
Good riddance Deion. I would love for you to go elsewhere. While you’re at it, take that other overpaid bum, Houshmandzadeh, with you. The only difference bewteen the two of you is that Housh doesn’t get injured every time that it rains in Seattle like you do!!
“Y’all come find me. Anybody who want me, come find me.”
The first place I would look is (hopefully) in a remedial English class.
If BB decides to allow branch back into his good grace it will be 100% under his terms….& of course if Tom requests him to be brought back….
Brady has his 2 dream targets now & I believe tate will soon find his way into Toms good grace….
I have no problem with Branch coming back as long as it would be for league minimum & as a 4th option in spread packages…..
“Not mentioned in the report were the 30 other games with lackluster performance.”

Hasslebeck>Brady. Branch was fine until he got hurt not because Tom I hire bodyguards to shoot reporters Brady wasn’t his QB anymore. Get your head out of your ass or better yet don’t comment on something you know nothing about but just assume because you heard on ESPN that Brady was great. Where’s ESPN located again? Bristol? Where’s that? New England?

New England traded Branch for a 1st round pick. Obviously you wouldn’t know that because you’ve only been a Pats fan for a few years. and don’t remember the bottom of the AFC east days because there were no Patriots fans then. They sure come out in bunches now that they’re decent. Still not a franchise though.
“dynasty” not franchise, my bad
Ceed, I can see you are a geography wiz.Look at a map and see that Bristol,Conn is considered outside the NY Metro area. The Patriots do not own the fandom for the New England region, Conn is loaded with Giants fans.
“Tom I hire bodyguards to shoot reporters” try to get your facts straight, the accusation was against papparazi not “reporters” but then again based on your stupid comments we should not expect anything less from a moron.
A walking advertisement for the uneducated NFL norm.
“Hasslebeck>Brady.”
That might be the most idiotic thing ever posted on the internet. Nice!!!!
Are you also of the Styx>Rolling Stones school?
We won’t find him in english class, that’s for sure….
Tim and Matt Hasselbeck are less than/not equal to Tom Brady.
“Hasslebeck>Brady”
I don’t think you know what “>” means. Let me fix that for you.
Hasselbeck
Ceed you are the biggest moron to ever watch a football game, and everyone in the world knows President Bush saw a game once.
if you put both of the balding hasslebacks together you wouldn’t even come close to touching tom brady’s pure excellence… seattle fans are worse than i thought, i actually had some respect for people from seattle but you just went and ruined it all. the Pats traded branch because he wanted a new contract and BB knew he wasn’t worth it, looks like it turned out for them, i’m pretty sure they used that pick on Brandon Merriweather, he’s shaping up to be a pretty good prospect, but you wouldnt understand that because you probably think that bryan russell was the best coverage safety of all time.
1 – Somebody needs to tell these guys about burning bridges.
2 – Boy, that pass from Hasselbeck was truly beautiful, sailed on a satin ribbon – marvelous!
Actually the problem is Hassleback. Since he’s out in the Great Northwest, he is off the radar in terms of QB play. He is getting a free pass being out there. He wouldn’t last a day in Philly, Noo Yawk or even Tennessee! He sucks, and Jim Mora is as good a coach as his dad. The Seahawks just flat out suck! Don’t be surprised if they struggle against Detroit, cause they won’t come out there like Jacksonville did. TJ is probably kicking himself because (1) Hassleback gets hurt too much (2) Seneca Wallace sucks (3) When Hassleback does play, HE CAN’T find TJ.
Branch will be here next season because Ruskell is a freaking moron.
FIRE TIM RUSKELL!!
the SEAGULS are junk and the “the 12th man” is an even bigger joke. There in the same category as the rams, lions and chiefs as far as im concerned
