Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is expected to play Sunday against the Washington Redskins, despite a knee injury that has limited him in practice.
White and offensive tackle Sam Baker both returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after not practicing at all on Thursday, and while both are listed as questionable, Falcons coach Mike Smith says he thinks they’ll both play.
“I anticipate them being ready to go on Sunday afternoon,” Smith said.
White has started all seven games for the Falcons and has 37 catches for 543 yards and six touchdowns this season, leading the Falcons in all three categories.
Other players listed as questionable on the Falcons’ official injury report include running backs Jerious Norwood and Jason Snelling and defensive end John Abraham.

Roddy White gotsta play against DeAngelo Hall and honorary Mexican Carlos Rogers, maybe blow up the stat sheet like he did against the 49ers a few weeks ago. Hopefully Michael Turner is out of his phunk and can find some holes like he did Monday night versus the Saints, FB Ovie Mughelli back paving the way. HAIL!
