Wide receiver Chris Chambers, claimed off waivers from the Chargers on Tuesday, is active for the Chiefs for Sunday's game with the Jaguars.
It seems that Chambers will play a fair amount for Kansas City as well. Bobby Wade, who started the last two games and is second on the team with 20 catches, has been deactivated and the team released Bobby Engram to make room for running back Kolby Smith. Mark Bradley, Terrence Copper and Lance Long are the other receivers, but Copper and Long do most of their work on special teams.
The other notable Chiefs inactive is free safety Jon McGraw, who was listed as doubtful with a thigh injury. DaJuan Morgan will start in his place.
For the Jaguars, cornerback Rashean Mathis will return to the starting lineup after missing a game with a broken finger. That means Reggie Nelson, who struggled replacing Mathis against the Titans, will be back at safety this week.
