The run defense was supposed to be the strength of the Washington Redskins. Maybe the Redskins have no strength.
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner ran wild today for 166 yards, including 30- and 58-yard touchdowns, leading the Falcons to a 31-17 win. It was the second straight huge game for Turner, who has 38 carries for 317 yards in the last two weeks after rushing 118 times for 403 yards in the first seven weeks of the season.
Although the Falcons will have a tough time catching the Saint in the NFC South, they’re now 5-3 at the season’s halfway point and have the look of a playoff team.
Things just keep getting worse for the Redskins, meanwhile, with injuries on offense combining with that dreadful play on defense. The Redskins are 2-6 and have the look of a team just mailing it in.

Wonder if Snyder will consult Fat Albert on this too?
maybe the redskins have no strength? MAYBE?? maybe the colts have no weaknesses, florio. that’s maybe. no f—ing chance do the redskins have a strength
At least Greg Blache has the incredibly wonderful, close friend of his – Dan Snyder backing him up. As Greg often says – the only thing that’s confusing is why Danny hasn’t won the Nobel Peace Prize for all the good-will and humanity he’s done since owning the team.
Dan Snyder can look in the mirror and clearly see the problem………
It’s nice to see Turner get back on track. I really like the guy, even if I’m not a fan of the Falcons.

I’ve hated Michael Turner since he was in San Diego, but he’s looking great right now.
Greg Blache should have spent time worrying about the Falcons instead of sucking Snyder’s butt all week.
GREAT JOB! LOL!
@ Onderin
It’s hard to run in San Diego. The hype is so bright you have to wear a visor…
Greg Blache is a genius. Instead of instilling proper fundamentals on his personnel (tackling, pursuit angles, refraining from smacktalk on the opponents sideline), he ‘whets’ his whistle instead to Herr Snyder during the week.
