Muhammad, Fujita inactive for Panthers-Saints

The Carolina Panthers will be without starting wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad today when they take on the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints will be without starting linebacker Scott Fujita.

Muhammad, who has a knee injury, and Fujita, who has a calf injury, were among the inactives released by the NFL an hour and a half before kickoff.

Muhammad started the first six games of the season and has 24 catches for 219 yards this year. Fujita has started five games and has 22 tackles.

    With the injuries to the Saints' front seven, the Panthers should commit to the run today.
