In other news the Cincinnati Bengals brought in free agent LB Lawrence Taylor for a a workout Monday to shore up their injury plagued linebacker corps.

Taylor of course is known for being retired the past 20 years, but the Bengals cited his experience both on the field and with the law as positive traits.

    LMAO. Seriously?

LT is still the greatest defensive player I've ever seen. Sad about all his legal troubles. Hopefully he's still happy and seriously hope he doesn't get anyone hurt or killed with all this stuff.

Which brings me to my next point. Don't smoke crack.

Too bad he wasn't arrested for the murder of quite a few NFL QBs careers.

the real LT is still my favorite football player of all time, thanks to TMZ for putting his weight at 253 to reassure everyone he isnt on crack again. He has seemed to be doing really well for himself for the past few yrs too. if he was on something, even alcohol why didnt the cops administer a test? or keep him.

If I was a retired living legend, my eyes would be constantly blood shot. No biggy.

Somebody better call Mahatma Dungy. Sounds like L.T. needs a "mentor." I'd recommend Neon Dieone, but he only deals with college kids.

"leaving scene of an accident/property damage."

That's what you get if you bump a parked car... think no one saw it... leave... then they get your plate number and call the cops. Yeah he was dumb to do it... but let's not make this out to be anything serious. Spend a day in any supermarket parking lot and I bet you see it happen.

I flew seated next to Taylor in First Class about 12 weeks ago. Friendly guy and very laid back considering the attention surrounding him.

He musta put down 6-7 scotch on the rocks during the 2 hour flight. He dozed off for about 20 minutes, woke up and ordered another one.

    Just saying....

Surprise, surprise. You'd think he could/would get over his ways of the past. How disappointing.

@Bigbluefan ... I've even heard Theisman give him props, too.

@NoKoolaidCowboy... Perfect description. Hope the demons aren't clutching at him again.

One of the smelliest turds ever to disgrace the NFL.

This criminal druggie is the example of a "brain on drugs". Undisciplined and violent he threw punches on the field and was anti-social off the field. Always getting into some stupid trouble.
A very bad person no one should ever imitate.

He admitted he did not know or understand defenses so he often did what he wanted on the field. There is no way he would ever make it in today's NFL.

He is a shame and disgrace to the NFL and is still being a criminal.

    Thank the good lord....

Florio finally has a post that pays reference to TMZ. You should be writing for TMZ Florio, not a football website. 90 % of your articles can't even be described as Rumor......they are conjecture at best. You should be writing for a gossip mag.....IF they will have you. I hope PFT is interviewing.

This moron is still around??? If I were the coke head, I would run too. Someday, professional athletes will be handled with the same admonition as everyone else. This clown needs to be incarcerated in a penitentiary. He has had way too many chances. When he kills someone, everyone will finally realize that professional athletes need to be held accountable. Oh, Ray Lewis, Donte Stallworth, well maybe not.

  26. Booner says: November 9, 2009 12:55 PM

    @ Bob Nelson

You obviously have your head up your ass or you know absolutely nothing about football. I've read a lot of stupid crap on this website but you saying LT would never make it in today's NFL is probably the the worst. Granted, he has encountered many problems off the field but judging him on talent alone would still put him as one of the best players in the game today. Get dressed and get off your mama's couch and go get a job -we don't need to read your clueless drivel here anymore!

@southernbo re" No Biggie. Stuff like this happens all the time"' No 'biggie'? Maybe down in hickville where you live. Hope he does time behind bars. He is a human waste product.
