Titans-49ers one-liners

The Titans forced four turnovers and racked up four sacks during their 34-27 victory.

RB Chris Johnson’s go-ahead touchdown came when the Titans called an option play with QB Vince Young.

Titans WR Justin Gage has returned to prominence since Young took over under center and had four catches for 97 yards on Sunday.

LeRoy Harris stepped in at right tackle in place of the injured David Stewart and the Titans offense didn’t miss a beat.

Titans K Rob Bironas became the fourth player in franchise history to score 500 points.

Said 49ers LB Patrick Willis, “We’re still going to stay positive. Nobody’s going to point the finger at any side of the ball, not at the special teams, not at the coaches. We’re just going to continue to work, continue to fight as a team. We’ve still got a lot of football left. It’s not over until our last game.”

49ers RB Frank Gore had 83 yards rushing and 75 yards receiving on the afternoon.

The 49ers activated WR Jason Hill for only the third time this season and he responded with two touchdown catches.

The 49ers defense did a good job defending short fields for most of the day but were beaten on a couple of long plays.
