Bengals limo crashes after school appearance

The NFL's Take a Player to School program is a nice opportunity for kids to meet real, live football players, and for players to encourage kids to balance their school work with a commitment to physical fitness.

But a Take a Player to School event near Cincinnati today ended badly for Bengals defensive back Chinedum Ndukwe.

After Ndukwe visited Ockerman Elementary School, his limousine crashed into a utility pole. Ndukwe wasn't injured, and the child who had won the Take a Player to School contest, who was given a ride in the limo earlier in the day, was not in the car at the time of the crash.

Police told WLWT that the driver of a second vehicle might have suffered a broken arm, but the crash remains under investigation, and police would not reveal additional details.

Someone should tell the driver that they aren't the Bungles anymore. Apparently he didn't get the memo.

smart idea... teach kids that if they put all their focus on football, they, too, will one day be able to afford riding in a limo.

What could go wrong with that logic?

It obviously wasn't returning from a driving school.

Chinedum is one of our Safeties and he's a hell of a guy for our community around here. Who cares if you guys have never heard of him. He's a good player and a hell of a role model. He does a lot for our community as well as where he's from. He's very well educated as well. Also, I love hearing these Ravens fans getting on here talking shit b/c one of our players' limo driver is a dumb ass and wrecked the limo. How'd it feel getting your ass beat again Ravens fans? The Steelers fans will be lipping right along with you this time next week.
