I'm happy with being the sixth overall team in the rankings, go Bengals. Next week will be a battle, I can't wait.

Can't complain about my Vikes rank, but their lead in the NFC North got a LOT bigger on Sunday.

Also completely agree with the Steelers rank, but I think it shows more than anything their (debatable) dependence on Polomalu.

Power Rankings DO NOT MEAN SHIZZNIT !!!

I have to laff how serious some of you take these rankings. The Saints are on top only because of their win loss record. They have been luckier than chit in more than one game.

    Next !

@ ilivincin97: If you can't wait, why don't you be plan to dawn the orange and black outside and inside Heinz field this Sunday?I can hook you up with good tickets between lifelong Black and Gold fans?

My jab is just a nice way of saying the Bengals fans were rude and ill-informed after your fortunate win in week 3. The BS flung at Steeler faithful inside and outside of PBS was uncalled for and just a reflection of the jealous hatred and pure envy for what the Steeler faithful enjoy year in and out. In fact, what surprised me the most in week 3 was the booing directed against the Bengals for 3/4 of that game. Told the Steeler faithfaul a lot about the Bengals"faithful", or is that "fair-weather faithful"?

You guys are having a great season (reminder it's your 2nd good season in about 20). Thus, if you're true fans, you'll show up in droves at Heinz field instead of sharing your smack through the internet. We'd much rather here the smack in the Burgh.

Going to be a great game on Sunday!

    Go Steelers!!!

We are aware of the record the Brownburns have put together the past twenty years you dolt. Far be it for me to tell you how to spend your time and money, so you can go to hell with your holier than thou "If you're true fans you'll be at Heinz Field Sunday" garbage. I don't drop everything in my life to follow a football team across the country, you people are the equivalent of Deadheads without tie dye.
And to the "fairweather" comment, dude, I don't know how old you are, or how long you've followed the Steelers, but I have lived and died (mostly died) for twenty years with this team. If you wanna have a shit talking session from off your high horse then let me know, I'll be glad to oblige, till then piss off.

The Colts are overrated now and the problems they seem to never address are will start to haunt them. Basically their entire secondary is a MASH unit. Bob Sanders is great but the guy only makes yearly cameos and Marlin Jackson and Kelvin Hayden rarely start together over the past few years and now are both out.

They also still can't stop the run. They wont get past the power rushing attacks of teams like PIT NE, CIN and maybe even DEN in the playoffs.

I can tell you then when the Steelers come here in Cincy and win, they are far more obnoxious and bigger a$$holes than what we were being after we beat you here this year. You guys have to be the absolute worst fans in all of professional sports. You're a bunch of inbred hillbillies who have nothing better to do in shittsburgh than go watch Rapistberger and Cheap Shot Ward go play football on Sundays. Then you go back to your trailer park and hop in bed with your sister for a week of beautiful inbreeding together. Until next Sunday when you go to someone else's stadium again and wave the towels around that you used to clean up after your magical week with your sister. I can tell you that I'd NEVER root for a player to be injured from another team unless it's a Steelers player. I will happily stand up and cheer no matter where I'm at if I see a Steeler's player go down injured. It'd be a joyous occasion. And it's all b/c the fans of that team are the absolute worst to deal with.

Steelers are OK. If not for a couple of lucky
breaks, like in the superbowl...scoring TDs
with long returns they may just be 4-4. They
scored ONe count it One offensive TD vs.
the vikings. I know it happened but they
don't get that strip on Farve and vikes win
that game. And by the way I think they
    lose this weekvs bengals

    I think bengalstink09 is scared.
Watch out...we beat you once...we can do it again. We've only gotten better as the year has progressed.

    ....Good luck chumps

Sounds like years of built up hate and frustration towards your AFC North daddy.

To say that a Steeler's fan had a bad experience at a game in Cincinnati is like the pot calling the kettle ******. Really? The Steelers are known for their nasty fans. Unfortunately so many of them leave that armpit of a town to move to other cities, so now we all have to deal with them. Just look at the Monday night game in Denver. I can't tell you how many negative experiences I've had with Steelers fans. Oh, so you have one and now we are lower than your level. Watch out, the Bengals are going to punch the Steelers right in the mouth.

Cowboys ranked 7th seems ok 4 now......should continue 2 move higher over the 4thcoming weeks......

Um... that's because the Steeler D kept the Steeler O off the field with those two TD's. And the game would'nt have been over if they didn't get that turnover. It may make you feel better to say the Vike's would've won, but that's a big assumption.

What will the Steelers do if their D doesn't score? The Vikings should have beat them, and someone will in the playoffs.

    *********************************************************

They had 3 offensive touchdowns last night. If their D didn't score, it would have been 21-10. If the Broncos' D didn't score, they would have only had 3 points. If Pitt's D didn't score those TD's against the Vikes, their offense would have. The Steeler's D shut down the Steelers O, not the Vikes.

  16. kravon says: November 10, 2009 12:52 PM

Steelers - last 5 games have allowed 6 offensive touchdowns, 3 of which were from San Diego.

Against Denver and Minnesota, the D allowed 1 offensive touchdown and 3 field goals. Thats pretty damned solid.

It's neither. Neither of those teams sell jack unless they're winning. "Faithful"? Get real.

8 out of 10 Cowboys fans couldnt tell you who they play this week, but will gleefully proclaim....

    We gonna win

rydendonkeys , What does any of that have to do with the fact that the Steelers still scored 21 points on offense against one of the top ranked defenses in the league? You don't think they could do that to the Colts, Pats, or Bengals D? Their defenses are a lot less stubborn than the Broncos.
    -----------------------------------------------------

The Ravens were averaging 28 points a game, but were only able to muster 1 offensive TD per game against the Bengals D.

They are clicking on all cylinders right now, even without Roy Williams and Antwan Odom lining up the past 3 games. While I don't expect the Bengals to hold Pittsburgh's O to 1 offensive touchdown, I think they'll keep it close enough to give our offense, (which has been on fire lately) a chance to pick up a road win.
