NFL moves Bears-Vikings game to 4:15 p.m. ET

Though the first weekend of the annual flex scheduling package won’t be resulting the Eagles-Bears game being bounced out of prime time, a shift has been made for the following weekend.

Also involving the Bears.

Their Week Twelve visit to the Twin Cities has been moved from 1:00 p.m. ET to 4:15 p.m. ET in order “to accommodate broadcast patterns.”

The reason for the accommodation is obvious; based on the official schedule available at NFL.com, no game was previously scheduled to commence at 4:15 p.m. ET.

So the next three Chicago games will feature high exposure. Tomorrow night, they travel the San Francisco. Ten days later, the Eagles -- and NBC -- come to town. Then, the late game on the last day of Thanksgiving weekend will carry into prime time on FOX.

Hopefully for Bears fans, the team will do something to merit the extra attention.
