Trent Edwards is back, while Terrell Owens is sidelined

The Bills officially announced Wednesday that Trent Edwards will return to the starting lineup at quarterback, as most folks expected coming out of Buffalo’s bye week.

It’s uncertain if Terrell Owens will join Edwards. Owens missed practice Wednesday with a hip injury, which is a surprise because T.O. participated in practice on Monday. Owens’ meager production this year took a dip when Ryan Fitzpatrick got in the lineup for three games, so he should be happy about the return of Edwards.

“Trent’s earned the right to be back in there,” coach Dick Jauron said.

Buffalo is a fairly heavy underdog Sunday (6.5 points) when they travel to face the 2-6 Titans, which says a lot about the Bills season.
