The Colts defense has been diminished by injuries this year. The Pats might be missing a couple of defensive starters come Sunday, too.
Per the official injury report, Brandon Meriweather has missed two days of practice with a foot injury. Also, defensive end Ty Warren has missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury. Meriweather and Warren have started every game of the 2009 season.
Starting defensive end Jarvis Green missed last week’s game after knee surgery; he hasn’t practiced this week, either.
Also missing practice both days were linebacker Eric Alexander (groin), receiver Julian Edelman (forearm), center Dan Koppen (knee), tackle Matt Light (knee), running back Sammy Morris (knee), receiver Brandon Tate (knee), and running back Fred Taylor (knee).
Receiver Randy Moss didn’t practice Wednesday for reasons unrelated to injury. He fully participated on Thursday.

The foot is banged up! Why practice? Make it worse? They’ll check on gameday and if the foot is ok, he’ll play….

The Pats haven’t OWNED the most important thing (the Lombardi Trophy) for FIVE season now…so taking solace in beating other teams when it doesn’t count the most is WEAK on the part of the lame ass Pats fans. And THAT puts a HUGE smile on the faces of all of the rest of the fans of the NFL!!!!
