Roddy White questionable for Sunday

When we submitted our PFT Picks for Week Ten, we didn’t know that receiver Roddy White would be questionable for the game.

And since we picked the 3-5 Panthers (blame it on the schnapps), the possibility of White missing the game makes us less uncomfortable with our decision.

Also questionable for the Falcons are tackle Sam Baker (ankle), defensive end Kroy Biermann (neck), receiver Brian Finneran (knee), defensive tackle Thomas Johnson (calf), running back Jerious Norwood (hip), and running back Jason Snelling
(hamstring).

Linebacker Curtis Lofton is probable with knee and ankle injuries.

For the Panthers, safety Charles Godfrey (ankle) and running back Brad Hoover (ankle)
are doubtful.  Running back Tony Fiammetta (concussion), receiver Muhsin Muhammad
(knee), tight end Dante Rosario (knee), running back Jonathan Stewart (achilles), and running back DeAngelo Williams (knee) are questionable.

Probable are kicker John Kasay (left groin) and defensive end Julius Peppers (hand).

Roddy was questionable last week too. I have noticed that the Falcons have adopted a very Patriot-like approach to injuries (where did Dimitroff come from?) Roddy will play for sure.
Jerious Norwood hasn’t practiced in 3 weeks, and has been listed as questionable the entire time.

The absence of Roddy White at this time last year would have been devastating, but now not so much. Roddy was almost a scratch for the Redskins game and had only 3 catches for 27 yards, but Tony Gonzalez can help pick up the slack & Michael Jenkins oughta shine if Roddy is absent. Don’t forget Aaron Stecker is a capable receiver too who had 3 catches last week. Marty Booker is a savvy vet who’ll be productive also. The possible absence of LT Sam Baker can be filled capably by journeyman Will Svitek who showed some decent play recently.
You seem to avoid the fact that workhorse Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams may miss Sunday’s game & Jonathan Stewart is hobbled too. Maybe they can get Nick “White Lightning” Goings to play from wherever he B rite now. Their D-line has been hit with injuries all season and Michael Turner has been Mike Smithing opponents the last two weeks with over 300 yards rushing the last 2 games. Better late than never. Also LB Thomas Davis their fine LB is out for the season, and Jake Delhomme won’t be outdone by Jay Cutler no siree bob like last night against the 49ers as the Falcons pass defense is ever so slightly better than it was than during our 1st meeting of the year with them at the Georgia Dome for a final score of Falcons 28 Panthers 20 though Jake had over 300 yards passing with a lot to DeAngelo Hall’s buddy Steve Smith but maybe ex-Rams bust Tye Hill can build on the big game he had versus the Redskins with his INT returned for a TD? It’s all gotta come together before Falcons Vs. Saints at the Georgia Dome one month from now December 13.

I bet Matty Iced throws more int’s than Jake.
    And that is saying something.

Honestly, Saints Bucs, go hang out with the Falcoholic!
Michael Jenkins sucks, Finneran down hurts on special teams as well.
Marty Booker is probably gonna get a lot of catches.
    Aaron Stecker too.
But, Matt Ryan has been a dork.
Even Mike Smith is kinda sick of him, can’t expect him to make any plays this year. Would rather run the ball.
Turner only started running when he realized he might lose his job.
