Jamal Lewis a 50-50 shot for Monday night

It’ll be interesting to see how the fans in Cleveland greet running back Jamal Lewis, who earlier this week sounded off regarding coach Eric Mangini’s practice habits.

But there’s a chance Lewis won’t be trotting onto the field at all on Monday night, due to an ankle injury that limited him in practice this week. He’s officially listed as questionable for what would be (if he makes good on his retirement talk) his final career game against the Ravens, the team that made him a top-ten draft pick in 2000.

Seven other Browns are questionable, including defensive lineman Kenyon Coleman (groin), tight end Michael Gaines (hamstring), offensive lineman Rex Hadnot (knee), tight end Steve Heiden (knee), receiver Chansi Stuckey (calf), fullback Lawrence Vickers (hamstring), and punter Dave Zastudil (right knee). Linebacker David Bowens (knee), offensive lineman Hank Fraley (knee), defensive lineman Coye Francies (knee), offensive lineman Alex Mack (wrist), and tight end Robert Royal (finger) are probable.

For the Ravens, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (ankle), cornerback Lardarius Webb (illness), and running back Matt Lawrence (knee) are questionable. Ten players are listed as probable: cornerback Chris Carr (illness), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (illness), tackle Jared Gaither (neck), tight end Todd Heap (ankle), linebacker Jarret Johnson (shoulder), linebacker Ray Lewis (foot), safety Hakuri Nakamura (chest), safety Ed Reed (wrist), cornerback Fabian Washington (thigh), and receiver Kelley Washington (back).
