On the eve of the 2009 version of the Game of the Century, the Patriots have downgraded one of their ten questionable players to "out."
"Out" for Sunday night is running back Sammy Morris, the team has announced. Morris, who has a knee injury, has missed the last two games.
The disclosure likely is being made because Morris didn't make the trip from New England to Indiana. Implicit in this development is that the other nine players have made the trip, and that they still could be playing.
The nine other questionable players for the Patriots are linebacker Eric Alexander (groin), tight end Chris Baker (shoulder), linebacker Tully
Banta-Cain (groin), defensive tackle Ron Brace (ankle), receiver Julian Edelman (forearm), center Dan Koppen (knee), safety Brandon Meriweather (foot), safety James Sanders (groin), and defensive end Ty Warren (ankle).
