Chargers in control against the Eagles

In a battle of teams fighting for playoff berths in their respective conferences, the San Diego Chargers have taken control over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has passed the ball effectively against the Eagles’ secondary and spread the ball around among his receivers, including hitting the little-used fullback Mike Tolbert for a 20-yard touchdown pass. And although running back LaDainian Tomlinson is still looking a step slow, he did rumble into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown.

Tomlinson’s touchdown moved him into a tie with Marcus Allen for third place on the NFL’s all-time touchdown list. Tomlinson now has 145 touchdowns in his career; only Emmitt Smith (175) and Jerry Rice (208) have ever scored more.

The Eagles sustained one long drive against the Chargers’ defense, but after getting first-and-goal from the 1-yard line, they got zero yards on three straight plays and settled for a field goal.

Late in the second quarter, the Chargers lead 14-3.

Please run the Shovel pass it always works.
But they dont even tho Westbrook is wide open in the flat to the left Mcnabb stares down Jackson.

1 minute left on second down and andy decides to run the ball now and instead of westbrook cutting it up field he runs OUT OF BOUNDS WHEN THE EAGLES HAVE 3 TIME OUTS. So even if they do score it leaves time left on the clock for the chargers. Reid really has this team on its ps and qs. O ya instead of throwing it into the endzone lets have Mcnabb dump it off for 3 yards when they need 12. Genius.

Once again the idiot Billick doesnt know what hes talking about. He said Morngiwheg is the OC and he calls the plays. Yes he is the OC and did have the play calling 2 years ago but Andy took it back from him. Andy draws up the first 10 plays of the game then gives it to Marty but Reid always ends up taking it back from him after like 3 plays if the Eagles arent throwing touchdowns by then. Watch before every play its andy with the board in front of his face calling the plays in with Marty just talking not looking at his board.
If anyone truely believes Andy lets Marty call the plays they need to be committed.

down 14-0, 4th and goal, inside the 1. and the eagles kick a FG. enough of the crap state that is reid’s W/L record. this game is a perfect example of why andy reid has failed to win a super bowl. twice the eagles have the ball inside the 10 and twice they come away with field goals. championship caliber teams score TDs in those situations.

Wow handoff to Westbrook and another 10 yard gain. Maybe we should give him the ball. O look another handoff to westbrook and another 1st down WOW.

What do you know the Eagles get another first down BUT WAIT another undisciplined penalty on the Eagles. Reid or Lurie has to go b/c if Lurie cant see whats going on he doesnt deserve to own the Eagles.

What do you know Asante Samuels is afraid to make a tackle again and dives at LT’s leg o and you know what happened next another Eagles penalty this time for 15 yards.
Andy Reid treats his team like there his kids and his kids are herion addicts.
