The St. Louis Rams are 1-7. The New Orleans Saints are 8-0.
And yet at halftime the two teams are tied.
Through two quarters, the Saints have scored 14, and the Rams have scored 14.
Tailback Steven Jackson has 100 yards running on 16 carries, and a touchdown. Quarterback Marc Bulger has completed nine of 12 passes for 118 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
For the Saints, Reggie Bush has a rushing touchdown, and quarterback Drew Brees has thrown for 95 yards and a score, along with an interception.
The Rams have outgained the Saints, 216 yards to 181.
Earlier in the week, we suggested betting the farm on the Saints giving 13.5 points. And we’re glad right now that we don’t own a farm.
Mike Florio – note to self: The Saints tear up their opposition in the second half
omg i would love to see the saints lose to st louis, that would be the ultimate kick in the testicles for you uppity saints fans
YAYYY WE HAVE DREW BREES!!!
nobody cares, guys.
GO RAMS!
Hooby… When your testicles finally drop Brees has a kick for you. Saints win!
“WHEW”that was a close one SaintsBucsPanthersSUKK. i thought u would never say”GO(whoever SAINTS play)” this week. u have a habit of saying that every week and we WIN. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. THANKS MAN!!!
Have to love the Saints haters out there. Where is the guy last week who was spouting off during the game that the Saints would lose? Where is the guy this week who was spouting off……?
The fact is that the Saints are 9-0 and are winning games that they and most teams somehow wind up losing at some point during the season. The Saints are very good, but they appeared to lose their best cornerback today to injury and he could be out for the season. That is the type of thing that may derail the Saints in the end.
Somehow the Saints have to keep home field advantage out of the hands of the Vikings. Don’t know if that can be done. The Saints have a 4 game lead in the NFC South with 7 games left to play. In position for a Bye and home field advantage in the playoffs is better than anybody could have expected after nine games.
“uppity Saints fans”
We’ve had a horrible team through most of our 40 year history. Can we have our freaking moment please.
My team is the Rams. I’m a huge fan of what the Saints are doing.
