Roddy White will play, Sam Baker might not

As the Falcons deal with multiple players whose availability for Sunday's game at Charlotte technically is a 50-50 proposition, one key contributor with the "questionable" designation is expected to play.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, receiver Roddy White is expected to play, despite a knee injury.

But Schefter also says that left tackle Sam Baker remains a game-time decision with a sprained ankle.  Will Svitek will get the start if Baker can't go.

Any world on the two headed monster at RB for Carolina yet? Both still questionable, but Williams listed as game time decision.

Svitek was NFL Europe's player of the year back in 2005 or 04 or something like that. A converted DT. KC cut him a couple years ago,b ut from what I saw he could play and was at least as good as the depth they had. Will be very interested to see how he does and will make this game more interesting to me if Svitek plays.

My sources have sung the praises of Will Svitek but bring in TE Keith Zinger to help block anyway like Ben Hartsock did last year.

Go Rowdy Roddy! Go Falcons! Peele and Gonzalez will be blocking for Turner in the 2 TE set all game...it's all downhill from there!
The run game will open up Roddy deep. If our secondary plays well today, expect a blowout - but the game could go either way (inner division game and the Panthers have played pretty well as of late).
Will be interesting to see who draws the job of covering Steve Smith....Chris "I for once got my head around lat week" Houston might, but I think I would prefer Brent "I believe I can fly" Grimes as he is our best athlete in the secondary and Smith is somewhat short (as is Grimes).
