Sharper, Greer out for Saints

The bad news is that the Saints will be down two starters in the secondary for today’s game against the Rams.

The good news is that St. Louis isn’t well-suited to exploiting the absence of safety Darren Sharper and cornerback Jabari Greer. Sharper’s knee injury will force Usama Young into the starting lineup for New Orleans, while Randall Gay will start at cornerback in place of Greer. Expect to see a fair amount of rookie Malcolm Jenkins in nickel packages as well.

The Saints will also be without wide receiver Lance Moore on Sunday, but will have linebacker Scott Fujita back in the lineup after playing without him for three weeks.

For the Rams, the most notable absence is guard Richie Incognito. The much-penalized lineman is out for the second straight game because of a sprained left foot.

NFL.com has the rest of the inactives for this and all of Sunday’s games.

If there was a week Saints players could miss, this is the week.

I hate the effing Ain’ts, they lose half their all-star secondary and they get to play the worst team in the league. Who’s d!€% did Peyton have suck to get that schedule? The only good teams they play at home and 1 tough road game against ATL.
