Falcons optimistic about Turner's high ankle sprain

As feared, Falcons running back Michael Turner has a high ankle sprain.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX, however, the Falcons are optimistic that Turner won’t be out as long as usual, for such an injury.

Typically, a high-ankle sprain entails a recovery time of 4-6 weeks.

Steve Wyche of has reported that the Falcons expect Turner to miss at least one game, and that the Falcons will re-sign running back Aaron Stecker, who was bounced Saturday as the Falcons added an extra wideout.

The 5-4 Falcons visit the 5-4 Giants on Sunday at the Meadowlands.

Florio I know you are just beside yourself with joy over this huge loss of the Burner. You knock the Falcons every chance you get with cheap shots. We don’t need you.

C’mon Mike, stop picking on everybody’s teams. They are the only one you do it to!

Still in hiding Mike? C’mon, let’s see some guts. Vikes and Cards games please. You threw that “man enough” bs around last week re boldin, are you man enough?

Why is it every other fan of every team always claims that Florio “knocks their team every chance he gets”? How self-centered are you dumbasses that you don’t realize that he equally bashes/praises ALL the teams?

Yeah, sure. A guy who had 370+ carries last year all of a sudden will recover faster than the norm from a high ankle sprain?

I will be the first to call out Florio for knocking the Falcons whenever he gets the chance. However, in this case, it seems like he is actually just reporting something without piling it on.
I find it refreshing that Florio is making a post without adding his snide, unfunny commentary. Usually, he would try to tie Vick into this whole thing.

Boy oh boy, if Turner is out for long, Matty Ice will continue to turn to slush. It won’t be good, Falctards.
