Cribbs carted off after game ended

During an ill-advised Stanford-band play to cap Monday night’s 16-0 Ravens win, Browns receiver Josh Cribbs took a hit, went to the ground, and ultimately was carted off on a stretcher.

One league source in attendance at the game tells us of a rumor that Cribbs was taken to a hospital via ambulance.

Cribbs appeared to take a forearm to the throat after lateraling the ball to tight end Robert Royal.

Stay tuned for more.

What is it with defenses going for the throat?
I hope Cribbs is going to be ok.

If you ever think your team sucks, and you feel like complaining, think of us Browns fans and then shut up.

Those so inclined please say a prayer for Josh. The heck with football, as you can’t win one against eleven. He is a better man than football player and that’s saying a lot.
I hope Mangini is fired tomorrow.

Yes realityonetwo cause mangini is in charge of the play calling, and mangini just so happened to order cribbs to run into the other player. You are the idiot.

I feel sorry for Browns fans.
Even more importantly, I hope Cribbs is okay. I’m glad that the Ravens shut them out (considering the terrible football they played in the first half), but I hate to see a good player get seriously injured.

The Browns have beaten the Bills 3 straight years.
    8-0, 6-3…who does that?
    It’s a train wreck…Lake Erie style…

LOL Awesome quote! I’ll give you Brown hardcore fans credit for sticking it out with your team, I would have jumped ship by now. I hope that oversized fat coach of yours gets the bullet and your team gets back to respectability.

At what point does it not become the coachs fault?? Everytime things go bad.. its the coach.Coaches coming n going all the time cant be a good thing either.I dont like Mangini but it has to be more than just the coach. That o line is a shambles,be it injury or whatever, they need help. It dont matter who is the qb,or the coach..the o line BLOWS!

    …………………..
The Defense cant hit anywhere anymore..not up .not down..not over there, dont touch his jersey, dont grab his leg, dont even look at him when he runs by you .. the Defense is bein strangled by rules…Not that this hit was called for but it is a contact sport…things like this are gonna occur in the heat of the game.I hope Cribbs will be okay .

Mangina should carry the ball on the next stupid play he calls. No pads or helmet needed. His head is hard-enough!
Mangina put his players at risk for no reason. No reason at all. None.

As a 40 year Bear fan, I have seen my share of bad, bad, bad football……but not like this. Five TD’s in fifteen games ? Wow.

Joshua, you should volunterily stop posting until you get a clue.
Everyone on the planet but you realzises that Mangini called for a gadget play instead of just letting the clock run down. Absent that gadget play, Cribbs isn’t in a position to be hurt.
I’m not sure who is the bigger idiot, Mangini for risking a player’s health and career to avoid a shutout (like that’s going to save his job? A loss is a loss) or you for defending his moronic decision.
