Dolphins-Panthers practice approximation

One thing we love (not really) about Thursday Night Football is the league’s requirement that the teams slated to play provide an injury report not regarding whether and to what extent injured players practiced but whether they would have practiced if, you know, there had been practice.

So if the Dolphins had practiced, running back Ronnie Brown (ankle) and tight end Anthony Fasano (hip) would not have practiced. And four Dolphins would have been limited in practice: guard Justin Smiley (shoulder), defensive tackle Paul Soliai (ankle), linebacker Erik Walden (hamstring), and safety Gibril Wilson (hamstring). But they weren’t because there was no practice.

For the Panthers, tackle Jordan Gross (ankle) and fullback Brad Hoover (ankle) are out, and safety Charles Godfrey (ankle), defensive end Charles Johnson (pectoral), defensive tackle Damione Lewis (shoulder), and running back Jonathan Stewart (Achilles) would not have practiced, if there had been practice.
