Joey Porter will play Thursday

Ronnie Brown won’t suit up for the Dolphins Thursday night against Carolina, but Joey Porter definitely will.

Despite some speculation that Porter may stay on the bench longer than one game, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said he “thinks” Porter will start the game.  Either way, it looks like J-Peezy will continue to have a significant role on the team.

Charlie Anderson and Cameron Wake enjoyed great games in place of Porter last week, so he’ll have to start producing or risk losing his starting job.

Oh, Joey Porter may get off the bench and run around the field a bit, but he won’t be playing. Two different things.

    Stat line already established.
    ZERO,sacks,tackles and QB pressures.

So you claimed he wasn’t hurt, but he was sent home because of injuries. He didn’t go home to rest when he was told to, so you, Florio, Mort all jump to the same conclusion that Porter was out of Miami for good. Now he’s starting this week. Nice reporting guys.

    Joey’s QB pressures 2009 = 8
Wake QB pressures vs. Buc = 9
