Jaguars receiver Jarrett Dillard broke an ankle during Sunday's 24-22 win over the Jets. As a result, the Jags have placed Dillard, a fifth-round pick in the 2009 draft, on injured reserve.
And that's good news for receiver Nate Hughes, who'll get another shot with the team after being activated from the practice squad.
Hughes was cut in September after dropping not one but two touchdown passes in a 31-17 loss to the Cardinals. One of the drops wasn't really a drop, since there was no way he was going to catch the ball with his helmet.

SuperBowl baby!
Good move by the Jags. He is a better slot player than Underwood. Hopefully Hughes will be active and Underwood inactive. Nate brings a little more speed to the group. Congrats Nate, it was tough getting back but those game checks start next TUE. Just in time for Christmas!!!
