Source: Cribbs being evaluated for a concussion

A league source tells us that Browns receiver Josh Cribbs, who appeared to take a forearm to the throat on the last play of Monday night’s loss to the Ravens, is being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Cribbs was carted off the field after the game ended.  ESPN confirms that he was then taken to a local hospital.

We’ll update as we get more information; I had a large coffee from the local convenience store a few hours ago, and the caffeine hasn’t worn off yet.

You know you are having a horrible season when the best news you get is that your best player only received a concussion.

I didn’t get a great look at the hit but it seemed kind of “Hines Ward”-ish. Anyone get a better look and think a fine is in order?
