T.O. tweets about Jauron, Haley

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens took to Twitter on Tuesday to make clear that he isn't celebrating the departure of coach Dick Jauron -- and to take a shot at another NFL head coach.

Early this afternoon, right around the time the news broke that Jauron had been fired, Owens tweeted, "It's a beautiful day n the neighborhood here n good 'ol Buffalo!"

An hour later, Owens apparently realized that the timing of his tweet -- and his long history of having trouble getting along with coaches -- might make it seem like he was celebrating Jauron's firing. So he got back on Twitter and explained that no one should read anything into what he had tweeted before.

"Jus wanted every1 2 kno that my tweet had NOTHING 2 do w/the fact of Coach Jauron being fired!" Owens said.

But even if Owens has nothing bad to say about Jauron, he wasn't above using Twitter to rip another NFL head coach, Kansas City's Todd Haley, who was the Cowboys' wide receivers coach in 2006 and clashed with Owens.

Noting that Larry Johnson has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals after being cut by the Chiefs, Owens wrote, "I'm happy Larry Johnson signed w/Bengals! He's def n a better situation than n KC under tht HC!"

And so the quarter of a million people who follow Owens on Twitter can rest assured that Owens isn't celebrating the firing of his coach -- and that he still despises Haley.

Well, I was starting to have my doubts about Haley in KC. But if TO doesn't like him, then he must be a good coach.

Who cares. Let me know when he tweets "I'm done" signaling his retirement. Real good of him to show love to his boy LJ - good to know these once talented, now washed up head cases stay tight and all.

I am sure Bills fans everywhere felt today was a beautiful day in Buffalo. What exactly is sad about pro coaches being paid handsomely, year after year to be mediocre year after year. I do not feel sorry for any NFL coach who gets fired. Coaching in the NFL is all about personal relationships and have very little to do with actaul coaching skills. Jauron is a good man but his time is up and he has plenty of money so he will never have to workl again if he chooses.

Nice to see TO stick up for his fellow locker room cancers around the league.

Thanks. My life is complete now knowing that.

Twitter, the lamest thing to come out of all these tech social networking deals. I don't know what's lamer, people being so narcissistic to think that people really give a crap about their every little random thought or the fact that news organizations and sports blogs regurgitate this fetid nonsense.

I'd kill to get Florio and Co to quit repeating someone else's freaking twitter posts. It's akin to following High School gossip.

The best thing that could ever happen to the "NFL social scene" would be a banning of tweets by players.

Does anyone else notice the complete lack of understanding of the English language by TO? I swear texting and tweeting have destroyed those who participate in either as a main form of communication. How gramatically stupid do you have to be before you realize that you are indeed stupid? (I am not proof reading this so I hope to god that I didnt make any mistakes!)

Ocho Uno wishes he was playing with Ocho Cinco now, because they're winning and he's whining.

If the Bills make Perry Fewell as the interm coach, does that exclude them from having to interview an African American under the Rooney Rule?
