1. New Orleans Saints (9-0) (Last week: 1). Bad teams with nothing to lose could pose the greatest threat to an undefeated season. Next up? The Bucs.
2. Indianapolis Colts (9-0) (Last week: 2). Like Apollo Creed at the end of Rocky I, the Colts don't want a rematch.
3. Cincinnati Bengals (7-2) (Last week: 6). Now that they can beat the good teams, the real challenge is whether they can dominate the bad ones.
4. Minnesota Vikings (8-1) (Last week: 5). What can a good quarterback do for a receiver? This year, Sidney Rice is playing like Jerry. Previously, he was as good as Condoleezza.
5. New England Patriots (6-3) (Last week: 4). Maybe Pats security chief Mark Briggs thought the guy with the camera was Matt Walsh.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) (Last week: 3). Maybe Jeff Reed thinks that if he makes a tackle he'll be arrested for assault.
7. Arizona Cardinals (6-3) (Last week: 9). Undefeated on the road and 2-3 at home, the Cardinals might want to avoid home-field advantage for the playoffs.
8. San Diego Chargers (6-3) (Last week: 10). The fact that L.T.'s wife is pregnant with their first child might cause some to wonder whether she'll be able to take care of two crying babies.
9. Baltimore Ravens (5-4) (Last week: 13). With two games coming up against the Steelers, a sweep by either team could knock the other one out of the playoffs.
10. Dallas Cowboys (6-3) (Last week: 7). The slow disintegration of the NFC East continues.
11. Houston Texans (5-4) (Last week: 12). Ah, the bye week. A chance to relax, sit back, . . . and watch every other team in your division win their games.
12. Denver Broncos (6-3) (Last week: 8). Two home games in four days (Chargers, Giants) will go a long way toward determining whether Josh McDaniels' first season in Denver is a success.
13. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4) (Last week: 11). Thanksgiving is coming, which means these birds have been playing like real turkeys. Again.
14. Green Bay Packers (5-4) (Last week: 16). Maybe Charles Woodson should play offensive line.
15. New York Giants (5-4) (Last week: 15). The good news? The Giants didn't lose for a fifth straight weekend.
16. Atlanta Falcons (5-4) (Last week: 14). The road doesn't get any easier this weekend against a rested Giants team in New York.
17. Miami Dolphins (4-5) (Last week: 18). Joey Porter should take Kramer's vow of silence, starting . . . . . now.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4) (Last week: 20). If the kneel-down by Maurice Jones-Drew had resulted in a missed field goal, the maneuver would have been forever known as "choppin' wood."
19. San Francisco 49ers (4-5) (Last week: 21). The 49ers have finally found a quarterback who can consistently complete passes to their players. It's a shame he's under contract with the Bears.
20. Carolina Panthers (4-5) (Last week: 22). Another week, another key player lost for the year.
21. New York Jets (4-5) (Last week: 19). Maybe G.M. Mike Tannenbaum and Browns coach Eric Mangini will be working together again next year. In the UFL.
22. Chicago Bears (4-5) (Last week: 17). For a moment on Thursday night, it occurred to me that maybe Jay Cutler is actually trying to get Lovie Smith fired.
23. Tennessee Titans (3-6) (Last week: 25). In the never-ending quest for new revenue streams, the team will now be selling a new commemorative line of foam fingers.
24. Kansas City Chiefs (2-7) (Last week: 27). If the Chiefs aren't careful, they'll blow their shot at another top-ten draft pick.
25. Washington Redskins (3-6) (Last week: 28). On the same day the Redskins decided to allow fans to bring signs into FedEx Field, the team gave them a reason to make signs that didn't include swear words.
26. Buffalo Bills (3-6) (Last week: 23). Why do we have a feeling that at least one of Bud Adams' middle fingers was intended for T.O.?
27. Seattle Seahawks (3-6) (Last week: 24). Apparently, the meaning of the word "guarantee" has changed dramatically over the past four decades.
28. Oakland Raiders (2-7) (Last week: 26). Guys who run really fast always make for great receivers. And if they're fast enough, their speed might keep folks from noticing that they can't catch.
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) (Last week: 29). If they'd given Josh Freeman the snaps in training camp, they might have more than one win right now.
30. St. Louis Rams (1-8) (Last week: 30). We've got a feeling that, in their rematch with the Saints, the Rams will lose by a few more points than five. [Editor's note: As some of you have pointed out, the Rams and Saints no longer play in the same division. We apologize for our oversight. We forgot for a moment about the change. Which was made in 2002. And yeah this was easier than coming up with a new entry for the Rams.]
31. Detroit Lions (1-8) (Last week: 31). The Vikings let the Lions hang around, and they still found a way to lose by 17.
32. Cleveland Browns (1-8) (Last week: 32). In the end, the fans showed up. And, as usual, the team didn't.

Redskins are going to run the table. You just wait.
WHO DEY! I agree that the Bengals should be the #1 non undefeated team. The Vikings lost to the Steelers and the Bengals defeated the Steelers (x2)....For once I am actually alright with these rankings
Bengals 3rd? Wow. I know they're good but 3rd? I think the people in Minnesota and New England would have an issue with that. I do think the Bengals are no lower than 6th however, which is amazing.
Go Browns - heading for 33rd..
Love the site guys, but I gotta say there is a double standard at work here with the Bengals. Last week and this week, you say that if they don't pound the weaker competition, they are not a true elite team. Yet I don't hear this about the Saint's barely beating the Rams; instead, it's "beware the spoilers ruining their perfect season" (paraphrasing, of course). Let's keep it level guys.
Green bay dominates the Cowboys but are 4 spots lower?
Indy has beaten the Patsies 5 of the last 6 times they've played. Bring on a rematch.
OK, really? The Saints beat a 1-8 team (#30 on the PR) and stay ahead of the Colts beating the 6-3 (#5 on the PR) Pats?
I agreed before that the Saints deserved #1, but not this week.
LT sure has it tough here. Rodney Dangerfield would be proud. Tough Crowd Tough Crowd
I would switch Cinci and Minnesota around but thats about all.
The Pats are where they should be, in my opinion they will be the AFC Champions when all is said and done and the loss Sunday night did nothing to discourage me from that.
The Bengals are 7-2 right now which is a better record but in the playoffs they will be no match for the Pats or the Colts.
Hmm Lets see how my Eagles lose on Sunday Night Football this time. Will we:
A. Fail to get one yard when we absolutely have to.
B. Will Mcnabb throw at least ten balls in the dirt as he seems to every time he plays on Sunday Night.
C. Will Andy Reied decide to kick a field goal down 14 in the fourth quarter inside the Bears ten yard line.
D. All of the above.
I'm going with D.
The Bengals and Vikes will get to determine who's better in about a month.
That LT comment Florio made was very amusing.
I'll never forget after watching that Pats Chargers 2007 playoff game (Chargers best chance to ever win the Super Bowl) LT started crying.
"They got no class no class at all"
What a wuss, then the next year in the AFC title game the baby sat on the bench and wouldn't even cheer on his team. While Phillip Rivers manned up and played with a TORN ACL.
Darren Sproles has more heart than LT ever will.
The Bolts would be better of without him.
Am i the only one with a problem of New Orleans ahead of Indianapolis. I mean the Saints are really good, but the Colts did just beat the Patriots in dramatic fasion, have not had as many come from behind close games as the Saints, and are doing it all with a rookie head coach. Maybe it is just me, but that seams more impressive. And the Vikings only losing to the Steelers solely based on 2 turnovers returned for TDs on wild plays should prompt them into 3rd dont ya think. Other than that, id say id agree with most of the list. Maybe Atlanta ahead of the Packers and the Skins ahead of KC, who yes we know beat us, but KCs 2 wins are against the Skins and Raiders, no quality teams. The Skins did just beat the Broncos, a quality team. But as my buddy said plain and simple, only reason the Skins won is because they do not want a high draft pick, to annoy all the fans...
A packer fan told me the other day that the Vikings haven't played anyone yet.
If any packer fans agree, please tell me why?
The Bengals did just sweep both of last year's AFC finalists in convincing fashion who are still in the top ten of these power rankings, and our defense holds its own in the smashmouth AFC N, so... yeah. 3rd is pretty fair.

Green bay dominates the Cowboys but are 4 spots lower?
*******************************************
So says a fan of the team that lost to Tampa Bay. By your logic, the Pack should be ranked below the Bucs.
Midnight green, you can't fault D. Mcnabb after he played that san diego game, coaching has been the eagles problem. Right now I'm not confident that could beat anyone anymore
30. St. Louis Rams (1-8) (Last week: 30). We've got a feeling that, in their rematch with the Saints, the Rams will lose by a few more points than five.
In the playoffs?
Keep your divisions straight Florio
"If the kneel-down by Maurice Jones-Drew had resulted in a missed field goal, the maneuver would have been forever known as "choppin' wood." "
But it didn't, so......
The reason the Bengals are ahead of the Vikings is because the Vikes lost to the Steelers, who lost to the Bengals TWICE. Also, the Vikings have a soft, soft schedule. Their wins include the Browns, Rams, 49ers, and Lions (TWICE). Green Bay is so-so, but the Bengals beat them in Lambeau badly. The only decent teams the Vikings have played are the Ravens--to whom they nearly lost, who the Bengals beat twice--and the Steelers, who beat the Vikings soundly.
purpleguy is right--we will see who's better in four weeks. I say Bengals win by at least two TDs.
The only real Super Bowl contenders are: Colts, Pats, Bengals, Saints, Steelers (that's right, NFC fans, the Saints are your only hope). I'm not saying someone won't surprise the Saints in the NFC, I'm just saying these are the only teams that have a chance to hoist the trophy.
We will see the Bengals and Vikes slug it out soon enough. Does it really matter which one is third and which one is fourth in the these fictitious rankings? I know I'm biased, but the Bengals have one of, if not THE toughest defenses in the league. That has made all the difference this year. Lock up Zimmer for a long time Mike Brown. Who Dey!
"30. St. Louis Rams (1-8) (Last week: 30). We've got a feeling that, in their rematch with the Saints, the Rams will lose by a few more points than five. "
When do you think that the Rams will have a rematch with the Saints? Making predictions for 2010 already?
The Bengals-Vikings matchup will be a helluva game.
I would also put the Vikings ahead of the Bengals at this point.
That said, Steelers fans are eerily silent today. What, no witty repartee after another loss to Cincinnati? The Steelers, with the easier schedule, could end up winning the division, but until then, I'm going Bud Adams on you.
"4. Minnesota Vikings (8-1) (Last week: 5). What can a good quarterback do for a receiver? This year, Sidney Rice is playing like Jerry. Previously, he was as good as Condoleezza."
Recycling yesterday's "joke"?
I guess it's okay considering how late the Vikings-Lions Aftermath was posted....

LMAO You really think you are coming over to our house and win by 2 tds?? Enjoy the next soft games, you will get that bubble busted in MN. Vikings by 10.
There is no way in hell the Chiefs finish out of the top ten in draft picks.
Again, what are you guys smoking?
"[Editor's note: As some of you have pointed out, the Rams and Saints no longer play in the same division. We apologize for our oversight. We forgot for a moment about the change. Which was made in 2002. And yeah this was easier than coming up with a new entry for the Rams.] "
It's that hard to come up with a one sentence blurb about an NFL team?
Natifan23-
The Steelers soundly beat the Vikings? Are you kidding me? If it wasn't for a few flukey turnovers and a reversed TD call on a horrible call by the refs, the Vikings would be undefeated. Yeah they won on a last second play against the niners(Who at the time were undefeated and playing tough, tough defense) and the Ravens missed a field goal at the end to complete an improbable comeback, but they dominated the Ravens for 3 full quarters before the vikings lost pro-bowl CB Antione Winfield and decided to quite tackling in the 4th.
The Bengals have beat some good teams, but if it wasn't for the world's ugliest kick return on Sunday, they wouldn't have beat the steelers.
I can't wait for Dec 14. Or whatever the date is the Vikings play the Bengals. TWO TOUCHDOWNS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
First of all, when do the Saints and Rams have a rematch? Did I miss something?
Didn't think so.
Secondly, for everyone hating on the Saints being ranked #1, while the Colts did beat the Pats, there's a very high chance that things would have turned out differently if the Pats had punted. I think its fair to argue that the Colts were handed the game. Every team plays some close games during the season, and playing any team while 4 of your top 5 defensive starters are hurt is always tough. The Saints have played some tough competition and shown similar resiliency. I don't think beating the Rams by 5 is justification for dropping from the top spot, given the injury situation and the Colts' controversial win.

Are you the less intelligent Schlereth twin? You AFC guys think you know all da shit. Steelers beat us soundly? We were 20 yards and a minute from victory tool. 2 fluke plays cost us.
Saints or Vikings could beat any AFC team. You will see first hand in MN when the Bengals get Favre,AD,Rice and Harvin in doses too big for you to keep up. This not the boring Steeler O son.
So many people think the 8-1 Vikes should be higher than the Bengals? To date, the Vikes only win against a top 10 team would be the 33-31 win over the Ravens @ Min. The Vikes lost to the Steelers, and the Bengals have beaten the Ravens and Steelers twice. Bengals also beat the Packers and destroyed the Bears. Bengals are ranked 3rd like the should be -- Who Dey!
For all the good that Andy Reid has done for the Eagles organization, he sure as hell still frustrates the living crap out of me and other iggle fans.
I think based on the top 10 its pretty close. I agree the Bengals should be ahead of My beloved Vikings at this point. That will soon change when we win decidedly. It seems a little goofy that Green Bay is ranked above some of those other teams. They are really a poor team. Rodgers will end up in crutches if things on the line dont change soon.
I'm an Eagles fan, die hard, for 50 years +
They should be somewhere around 18 or 19. Too many injuries have wrecked this team for this season. I think it is time to start planning for the future. Play the young guys, it is time.
I think Andy needs to bring in a fresh perspective offensive coordinator. The Eagles are just another single dimension team, and Andy with Morninwheg will not change that. If Andy can't see that he is part of this problem, then it is time for him to move along.

If you read the posts on the aftermath, you would see that Steelers fans were anything but quiet. We were very congratulatory of the Bengals on their second win over us and their dominance of the division. Great win by them. Also they do not need to beat their next opponents soundly to prove themselves. As a Steelers fan, I know that an ugly win counts as much as a pretty win. Hopefully we will see them again in the playoffs, and maybe we can get another all AFC North Conference Championship, since the Bengals have helped us become the best division in football again.
Go Steelers
Come on Florio, you are really going to put the ben-gals ahead of the Vikings. Give me a break. I cannot wait to see the Vikings eat them up, and shut you up.
Skoal Vikes!
Worst.game.ever coming up this sunday:
31. Detroit Lions (1-8) (Last week: 31). The Vikings let the Lions hang around, and they still found a way to lose by 17.
VS.
32. Cleveland Browns (1-8) (Last week: 32). In the end, the fans showed up. And, as usual, the team didn't.
To make it even more comical - went to ticketmaster to see if WCF was giving away tickets for free yet...ohhh no, instead got this:
2 tickets to the LIONS vs BROWNS = $491.50 (Section 206-Row 7-Seats 5-6) I mean 500$$$$$ ?????? For THIS game hahahahahahahha isn't that criminal!!!! (Seriously, Florio isn't it???)
As a lions fan, man can I feel for Browns fans - it was like watching the lions last nite - D plays decent but the O sucks!!!
"New York Jets (4-5) (Last week: 19). Maybe G.M. Mike Tannenbaum and Browns coach Eric Mangini will be working together again next year. In the UFL."
Jets fans have been calling for Tannenbaum's head for years now. Maybe, just maybe, it will finally happen??
Ten years as a Jets fan, and the only difference is how many weeks it takes before I start cheering "play for the draft, boys!" I don't jump ship, but this will be the first Sunday I am NOT watching my team play. Just can't bear to watch anymore. The D is falling apart, Sanchez is losing his nerve, and Rex needs to learn press conference etiquette, and to just STFU.
Hello, hockey season! At least the Broadway Blue Shirts are winning some games.
So the Colts and Saints barely win their games and keep their spots, yet the Vikings dominate in their game and they lose their spot to the Bengals? What's the logic there?
so the Saints keep their spot despite barely beating the lowly Rams, and therefore the Colts don't leapfrog them by beating the Patriots? Ok, that's fine, then why did the Bengals leapfrog the Vikings?
Because the Bengals beat the Steelers and the Vikings barely lost to them? so what, You can't use that formula there's too many combo. The Steelers was the Vikings only loss and it wouldn't have been if not for a BS tripping call on Dugan which would've been a game winning TD for Brett. Meanwhile the Bengals lost to the crappy Broncos and Texans.
If the top teams keep winning, they should keep their spot and the Bengals have done nothing to deserve leapfrogging
@Bobarian
You never know about the Chiefs. Releasing LJ was the best thing they could have done at this point. Look for the Chiefs to surprise everyone with the Steelers coming to town.
"4. Minnesota Vikings (8-1) (Last week: 5). What can a good quarterback do for a receiver? This year, Sidney Rice is playing like Jerry. Previously, he was as good as Condoleezza. "
Didn't you use that same joke in the "morning aftermath"? Pretty lame Florio

We will see where that number 3 blog ranking gets the Bengals when they are getting shit-stomped at the Metrodome.
@mamedia -
Put down the kool-aid.
Hey, I love my Chiefs, but the Steelers just lost their trap game.
We are going to be publically humiliated this week.
LJ was a distraction for the team, but he wasn't that big of a distraction.
Hey, Tom, LT was crying because his wife was pregnant with her first child after their first one DIED from a miscarriage five years ago. If a man is going to cry, don't you think that's a pretty good reason to? How about you lay off this future hall of famer and see how the rest of the season goes.
31.The Officials (0-9). (Last week:33). The officials in the Green Bay game were bad but not as bad as the team listed below.
32. Detroit Lions (1-8) (Last week: 31). The Vikings let the Lions hang around, and they still found a way to lose by 17.
33 Cleveland Browns (1-8) (Last week: 32). In the end, the fans showed up. And, as usual, the team didn't.
As much as it pains me to say it (Steelers fan here) the Bengals are playing some good football right now. Reminds me a lot of the Steelers actually. It doesn't matter if it looks pretty or not...they are finding ways to win. I only see one caveat. The Bengals have a history of fielding solid teams that peter out at season's end. If you need proof...reference only two (2) Super Bowl appearances in the history of the franchise (and that was in '88). All that said...I would root for the Bengals if they made it to the Super Bowl. Only been one AFC team I have ever wanted to lose a Super Bowl.
The Colts' win isn't controversial. They won it fair and square. Given the way the Pats' defense was worn out and letting Manning score in two minutes or less (twice), there was very little chance the Colts would fail to score another TD. And you can't use the Saints' defensive starter injuries as an excuse... the Colts were without their starting CBs (woohoo, covering Randy Moss with a rookie), their #2 WR (just like they have been all season), Sanders, and several other key defensive personnel. The injury list is on par, to say the least.
So I'm definitely jumping on the "Colts leapfrog the Saints this week" bandwagon. Winning a close game against the Patriots (a fair and square win) is better than winning a close game against the Rams.
I'm not saying the Packers shouldn't be at #14, but they completely shut down one of the hottest offenses in the league and only moved up two spots?
for all of you who think the Colts deserve to be #1 "because they beat the Patriots"?....First of all Bill Belichick beat the Patriots. Prior to that weird decision he made at the end of the game the Patriots were going to win.. & furthermore the Colts barely beat the Jaguars (14-12) & the Texans (20-17) ....& didn't do so great against Miami (27-23) or San Francisco (18-14).
Geaux Saints...........Let the Good Times Roll.
Mcnabb always sucks it up in big games and he throws plenty of balls in the dirt.
But he's not the problem it's Andy Reid the guy who has never heard of "the running game" honestly it's like the Loch Ness Monster to him just a myth.
As an Eagles fan it pains me to say this, but we are done, finished cooked no chance changes need to be made I'm begging the Eagles front office Banner Lurie come on !
Cutler sucks. I think it is official now. Cutler really is not a very good quarterback. Sorry Bears. You got an even worse QB than you had before.
Maybe the Bears would like Jamarcus Russell.
The Bengals deserve their spot. Id like to see any team out there beat the ravens AND steelers twice times two. You purple nerds are going to have your bubble burst. That is, IF Favre makes it to the game. He tends to get hurt as the season drags on.... If you had trouble with the ravens and steelers..which you clearly did, then you are in for a big Bengal surprise (surprise to you, of course) It will be a good game if Favre plays but, look at the last few times we played Favre. We beat him. He is careless especially when you are going to have to rely on him after Peterson starts coughing up the ball.
WHO DEY
fleur delicious: I am now convinced that you know absolutely nothing about the game of football.
Sheesh, Florio. Did LT take your lollipop away once? What the heck is the matter with you? There's a line, and you definitely crossed it. Have a little humanity, dude...hope you've never lost a child or anyone close to you.
Not a fan, but the Pats should be #1. Brady and Belichick with a chip on their shoulder resulted in 16-0 last time didn't it? (18-1, actually)
Kiding aside, I would put the Pats still above Cinci. I'm starting to believe after 4-0 against the division big boys...but still not convinced.
"Colts don't want a rematch."
The Colts played their worst game of the season, scored 35 points and won the game. Why wouldn't they want a rematch?

What a mental midget take that is. Did you play Favre as a Viking? Palmer will be brutally beat by our D line like every other qb that faced us. Thanks for posting dumb shit like this, now I really can't wait to kick you around in the dome.Get fairy Johnson ready, we love to kill Benson. Very over rated. AD will run you over,he's not Mendenhall son.
Ok personally having a 7-2 team ahead of a 8-1 team is just absurd. Not to mention the fact that the Vikings almost won the Steelers game, two lucky plays seperated them from 1 loss and undefeated. By the way who did the Bengals lose to? The Broncos and the Texans..oh k, and they are number 3 because they beat the Ravens? Not quite sure what makes that any good. Also I heard someone say about how the Packers "dominated" the Cowboys and they dropped 4 spots. Well 1, the pack did not dominate anything, both teams looked horrible, and besides the fact that you lost to an 0-7 team, you probably shouldn't be allowed in the top 20, so be happy with what you got. But I love the morons rankings. I guess we will see who is #3 and #4 when the bengals come to the dome and get eaten up by our defense and our offense.
IF Favre makes it to the game. He tends to get hurt as the season drags on.... That is the common chorus that has been sung throughout the season by numerous dipshits. First, there was no way that Favre would sign with the Vikings. Then, there was no way his arm would be in good enough shape to play. Then, there was no way he wouldn't wear down by midseason and begin chucking INT's with reckless abandon.
Well he has three picks this year, two of which weren't his fault. And he threw a ball 64 yards in the air on Sunday. I say his arm and playing ability are looking OK.
By the way, our all-world running back will make your bigot and Chicago Bears retread look like shit.
@MS
@Lance Roberts
Florio probably has lost a child just like LT. The difference is that Florio is a heartless Douchebag, so he laughed when he lost his, and didn't like seeing a great NFL player show emotion at losing his...
How does Cincy "vault" to no.3 in the Power rankings when they failed to score an offensive TD in the game against Pitt? How does NE which had 450+ yards against the highly ranked defense of the Colts lag behind? Who has been lighting it up better than SD recently? Not sure if "vault" is the word you should use.
Tomlin and Rooney, as of today, have not yet fired Bruce "You Don't Win Games By Running the Football" Arians, so Pitt really shouldn't even be umber 6.
"I think its fair to argue that the Colts were handed the game."?
Can stopping Tom Brady & the Pats from getting 2 yards be considered a hand out? I think not. The defense EARNED the posession that led to the win. No freebies there.
Hey Dee bee
These are Rankings that mean nothing and have no real scientific stability. Look at the stats! The Bengals are #2 in points allowed. The Steelers have the #1 rush D! The Saints, Colts, NE and the Vikes will not put up big numbers on the AFC North Top3. I'm telling ya the Bengals are for real!
Sorry Crypt. It was not my intent to offend Cincy or their fans. I have to agree they have a very good footbal team, but I think in terms of "power" they aren't quite at the level of the other teams I mentioned.
You Vikings fans kind of remind me of Steelers fans! No love to the Bengals. The Bengals are clearly a better team than the Vikings guys! Look at who we have beaten?? The two teams in the AFC championship game last year have been beat by the Bengals TWICE (each), along with one of them being the Super Bowl champions (who by the way, beat the Vikings). The unfortunate thing Vikings fans have on the way, being delivered FedEx overnight, is a soon to be banged up Brett Favre. Let’s face it guys, he is not going to last all year! He is already whining about hip/groin injuries. I just don’t see this guy holding up and playing in all 16 and if he does, his unhealthiness will lose games. And without him, the Vikings are another victim of an under-achieving team (just like the Bengals last year without Palmer). I’m not saying the Bengals will whoop the Vikings, but they will win, convincingly. Underdogs or favorites. Doesn’t matter. They would rather them be underdogs so they can shut up the media, the analysts, and all of the under-educated football fans!! GIVE US CREDIT FOR FINALLY BEING A COMPLETE TEAM!
WHODEY!
Baltimore Ravens (5-4) at 9 and the Dallas Cowboys (6-3) at 10? come on all of these other 6-3 teams are higher up except Dallas goes after the (5-4) Ravens. Remember there is still alot of football left. Atleast give the cowboys more credit.
I'm wondering if NBC will move the Bengals VS Viks game to prime-time Sunday night?
Unsurprisingly, Cincinnati was allotted ZERO prime-time games; and by prime-time I'm encompassing the Thursday night NFL Network, Thanksgiving Day, and late season Saturday games. Not a single one!
How many games did the mediocre Dolphins get? The Browns? The god-awful Bears had how many, like 4 or 5?!?! Jay Cutler or not (and I think the schedule was released before they acquired Cutler) BORING!!!
Maybe next year we'll get some "prime-time" respect. Perhaps if the PalmerExpress isn't derailed in the first round of the playoffs, we'll actually do something special this year and FINALLY get the national RESPECT we DESERVE!
[/end rant]
i cant wait for the bengals to burst the vikings bubble. apparently, you guys havent watched our team play as of late.
"boring steelers O"? they werent really boring until they played us, same goes for the ravens. we have the best corner tandem in the league (both are pro bowl worthy and in 3rd and 4th seasons), and a 3rd corner thats playing well enough to start on many teams as a rookie 6th round pick. safety play has been solid as well, and this smothering coverage has led to a lot of coverage sacks, interceptions, and errant throws.
oh yea, were also 2nd in stopping the run.
dont expect your vikes to roll over us "bungles". we have extremely physical top 10 defense that is improving every week, and an efficient (also extremely physical) offense that can either grind it, or explode.
Actually I have watched the Bungles play of late. Benson/Johnson or whoever won't run. Palmer will eat Jared Allen's jersey, Winfield will stop Ochocinco, and then the Bengals D can go ahead and try to stop Favre, AD, Rice, Taylor, Berrian, the OL, and Harvin... Good luck! With the exception of the Bears, who has Cincy beat in a convincing fashion? Granted, a win is a win, but don't tell me that the Bengals are rolling teams. The Bengals do get three bye weeks before facing MN (OAK, CLE, and DET). Good thing, they need to be ready. So you can ask "Who Dey!" and after the Vikings game, you will know the answer. Dey are the team that's gonna stop your a$$.
@JuicyMelon (lol)
Have you forgotton that the Bengals have stopped the Super Bowl champs not once, but twice this year?? Are you aware that the team the Steelers played in the AFC championship game have also been beaten by the Bengals twice this year. Man, you must be absolutely DUMB to state that we wont have a running game and our passing game will be stopped also. Check the stats you idiot. The Vikings are not the best team in the league or anything; they are nothing more than a team that can contend for the playoffs. The difference between our team and your team is we have brotherhood and leadership in the lockerroom. Get off of your teams sack bro b/c you are nothing without Favre and he aint gonna last all season; see you in December.
Whodey
OK BENGALS V VIKINGS
Lets be honest this game will be a beat down of near epic perportions. Both teams can run and shut down the run, both teams can throw and defend the pass. Both teams have QBs that can lead a team to last second win. Vikings fans you are better than the posts you are writing. AP is amazing no question but so is the Bengals run D. This game is going to be FUN to watch. Bengals fans think about this Brett Farve does not miss games and with AP the Vikings have been able to save his arm. Do not think that Brett will not be ready We just need to hope that he trys to fit balls into holes that do not exist, because if he does our DBs have what it takes to make him pay. Good Luck Vikings fans but I hope you lose.
Who Dey

WHO DEY! I agree that the Bengals should be the #1 non undefeated team. The Vikings lost to the Steelers and the Bengals defeated the Steelers (x2)....For once I am actually alright with these rankings
@Thomas Paquette
Where dey Bengals going to be this week?
Hey Bengals, how dat Oakland ass taste? You still going to come to the Dome and handily beat the Vikings? After reading all this chirping I can't wait for the Bungals to come to town.
