As one of the worst seasons in franchise history continues, the Browns will be without two veteran players.
The team has announced that tight end Steve Heiden and punter Dave Zastudil have been placed on injured reserve.
Heiden, acquired via a trade with the Chargers in 2002, started six games this season.
Zastudil has been the team’s punter since 2006, when he was signed from the Ravens as a free agent.
The Browns replaced their roster spots by claiming on waivers linebacker Arnold Harrison (Steelers) and receiver Jake Allen (Packers).
