San Diego Chargers outside linebacker Jyles Tucker has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season after seven games.
It's been a disappointing season for the 26-year-old Tucker, who missed two games and played sparingly in others. He recorded only four tackles all year.
In 2008 Tucker started 12 games and had a solid season playing in place of the injured Shawne Merriman, recording 5.5 sacks. But Tucker is no longer a starter in 2009, and now his season has come to an end.
