The Vikings are having their best year since 1998, with eight wins in nine games and a schedule suggesting a final record of at least 12-4. With a Hall of Fame quarterback, the best running back in the league (Chris Johnson says, “I don’t play for the Vikings”), and a defense led by a mullet-headed crazy man, the Vikings have a real shot at making it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since Jack Tatum nearly separated Sammy White’s head from his body.
In theory, then, this should be the best time to solve once and for all the lingering stadium problem, especially with the team’s lease at the Metrodome due to expire after the 2011 season.
But instead of coming together, the Vikings and Minnesota could be coming apart.
The Metropolitan Sports Facility Commission has approved a resolution aimed at creating both carrot and stick incentives to get the team to extend its lease through 2013.
Specifically, the resolution would give the Vikings all postseason stadium receipts if an extension is executed. Absent an extension, however, the resolution authorizes the resumption of $4 million in annual rent charges.
Vikings spokesman Lester Bagley told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that the team is “extremely disappointed” by the move, calling it “a chilling message” to the team and the NFL.
“We made it clear we would not sign a lease extension without a stadium deal,” Bagley told the Star Tribune.
On Wednesday, a day after the proposal emerged from an MSFC committee, the Vikings sent a strongly-worded letter to the group, indicating that the organization is “shocked, exasperated and extremely disappointed” by the developments. (We didn’t know Jackie Childs practices law in the Twin Cities now.) “Come February, the Minnesota Vikings will have only 20 games remaining on our Metrodome lease,” the letter said. “Your actions yesterday leave us confused and questioning the future of this franchise.”
In Southern California, Ed Roski is tapping the tips of the fingers on his left hand to the tips of the fingers on his right hand and muttering, “Excellent.”
Vikes deserve a new stadium. Get it done for crying out loud!
Wow. It doesn’t seem that the Vikes are asking for the sky. They said they’d settle for an open air venue last I heard. That would mean a return to the snow games like when Joe Capp and Gene Washington and #44 Chuck Foreman and The Purple People-Eaters were perennial threats. I think I’d move to Minne for that. Get real, Twin Cities !
It truly saddens me that my beloved Vikings really do appear to be on their way to following the Lakers to LA. I understand in the current economic climate and the state budget situation is seems highly unlikely a new stadium will be approved.
Sadly the priorities were all messed up a few years back when stadiums were approved for the Twins and the Gophers. While I am happy the Twins are staying in town, a stadium without a roof spells lots of bad weather games in Minneapolis therefore low attendance, therefore smaller payroll, etc.
For the life of me I cannot understand why the Gophers and Vikings could not reach an agreement to share a football stadium for a combined total of less than 20 dates a year.
I would love it if some miracle happens and the Vikings manage to get a stadium in Minnesota with a retractable roof. It just looks less and less likely.
So I can only hope my favorite team ever since I was a child in the 60′s will win a Super Bowl before leaving town.
You would think just ONCE in my life it could happen.
Oooh, you don’t want to upset the Vikings, their fans may start calling the Metropolitan Sports Commission members names such as “doosh”, or “asshat” (whatever that is,) or “kweer”, or “fatso”, or “tard”, or any number of other uniquely mispelled “original” insults. I only wish I had a lower IQ so that I could identify with them and join the fight. I’ll do my best by clenching my fists and stamping my feet. Goodbye Minneapolis, hello LA.
It’s ALL-IN for the Vikings my friends. They MUST win the SB, with their annointed savior leading the way. Anything less and Favre will be a “doosh.”
Give it up Florio. The Vikings will not move. You get a story like this every couple of weeks and it’s just the same thing said in different words.
In a serious sense, Did they really send a strongly-worded letter? Oh man. They have not gone the right way with getting this stadium deal done.
Pawlenty/Minnesota Politics is/are not going to make a big decision if Pawlenty is going for a Presidential run. Give it a year and then the Vikings will get their new Stadium.
Plus, this was reported on Si.com a few days ago.
How about reading some of the below articles and reporting on that information:
http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2009/03/05/vikestadium/
http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2009/10/05/gop-lawmaker-to-propose-vikings-stadium-funding/
Personally I think Pawlenty really could care less about the Vikings or the fans. He is trying to make as much people happy as he can and unfortunately most Minnesota fans only like the Vikings while they are winning. But The Vikings will stay, it’s only a matter of time before Glen Taylor throws in some money.
I don’t blame the Viking’s organization for being “shocked, exasperated, and extremely disapponted” – the offer sounds like a pile of crap. Have to wonder though, how good an offer they can expect when their loyal fans have such a hard time selling out a home PLAYOFF game. I sure hope they don’t end up moving, but have to wonder!
Hey LA……….If you build it, they won’t come!!!!!!!!!! So quit tapping your fingers. Idiots!!!!!!!
I heard the deal was almost done, but after a review of the numbers, they found out that the Mahtomedi vs. White Bear Lake JV game generated more revenue. They don’t usually sell that game out, but Clear Channel, local Fox affiliates and other corporate sponsors don’t have to buy all the tickets up the day 2 days before the game either.
i thought he had his pinky inserted into the corner of his lip and his head shaved.
LA viqueens. sounds about right.
“Escape to L.A.”
Maybe they can go to Washington and beg the feds for a bailout package, otherwise they might as well warm up the buses and check GoogleMaps for the quickest route to L.A. or San Antonio…
If the Vikings want to get a stadium, they need to follow the same rules the Twins did. It’s not that difficult. Find a municipal/county partner to pay 1/3, put up 1/3 yourself, and the state will (should) put up the final 1/3, with the team responsible for overruns.
Oh…wait. The Vikings screwed over the only potential municipal/county partner that existed. Whoopsies.
Bad situation all around. Never should have moved into that stupid Humpty Dome in the first place.
Man up, Vikings, and build your own stadium. Keep ALL the stadium receipt from EVERY game. There’s a great location near Appleton, WI that would work.
—-Hey LA……….If you build it, they won’t come!!!!!!!!!! So quit tapping your fingers. Idiots!!!!!!!—–
Ya who would want to play in the best football market jeez….Idiot.
That’s ridiculous. If i’m ownership i’d say “fine forget you then” and move my franchise elsewhere. What more do the Vikings have to do? Just like Jacksonville, the fans refuse to show up? Oh well…we tried….see you later.
What pisses me off is the Vikes could have a stadium right now paid for by a casino at the Race Track, and one at the Mall of America. But our Gov. bow’d down to Indian special intrest groups, and their Monopoly of casinos in the state.
I want the Vikes to stay as much as anyone, but come on.. a billion dollars…right now???
They need to find an answer that doesnt include public money.. Get some Private funds.. How bout a car rental tax at the air port. Seattle pays for a nice stadium that way. Or how bout we elect a Gov that wont bow down to the Indians..
I have nothing against Indians or their right to casinos btw. but they shouldnt be the only ones allowed to profit from them.
“shocked, exasperated and extremely disappointed”
An apt description for how the Viking fans are going to feel as they lose in the playoffs.
But Mr. Noodle is signed for the long term. I can just see it now, the Southern California sun reflected off his empty head as Ziggy basks in his millions for moving the team out to LA.
Yeah – the Oilers won’t move either.

I see you tried to act like you know what you’re talking about… hmmm, you fit in well with the fellow clowns that post on the Vikings board.
Welcome!
It’ll never happen here.
Sincerely,
Three games this weekend:
Indy at Baltimore
Tennessee at Houston
Arizona at St. Louis
and one game last weekend:
Baltimore at Cleveland
Funny, I thought Pervy said this wasnt even possible?? Guess the Vikings organiztion doesnt listen to your opinion after all……
Tell me if there is a better coach in the division and I will call you a liar!
The Vikings are 8-1 and have already clinched the division title for the second year in a row. Oh, and were poised to take the bye and home field advantage in the playoff’s..Hows your team doing?
Boom!
I don’t know the region up there very well but I often wondered why they didn’t have an open air stadium for the Vikes. I’m sure it gets damn cold in december and january. Though, Iam pretty confident they won’t be using the stadium in january. SORRY Viking fans… its science.
How can anyone be so STUPID to think even for a moment that the Vikings are leaving Minnesota?
Look at the Vikings/Packers/Bears rivalry’s that will be thrown in the garbage. Do you really think some of the highest ratings in NFL history (even before Favre) would be dumped in favor of a move?
Anyone who continues to report that they are moving, thinking of moving or someone is “tapping the tips of the fingers on his left hand to the tips of the fingers on his right hand and muttering, “Excellent.” is nothing but a proven utter moron and doesn’t deserve to be a fan of football. Yes, this means you Lord Florio!
Where is our boy Pervy?????? Ohhhhh Pervy????? Here Pervy Pervy Pervy…..
To me it seems a lot of problems are present after the I-35 bridge collapse. I don’t remember having any issues selling out games after we got rid of Randy Moss really until that happened. I dunno maybe it is just me.
Vikings in LA would make a lot of sense. Then they could move to the West and the Rams could move to the North. It’s a win-win for all parties.
I’d hate to break it to everyone who thinks the Vikings are leaving Minnesota, but its not going to happen.
Not only will the Minnesota legislature get a deal done by next summer’s session, but the NFL will not uproot the team, especially since there are 4 other teams on the list ahead the Vikings.
The MSFC is trying to force the team’s ownership into a deal, which will push Mr Wilf not out of Minnesota, but out of the current idea of the extension, or rebulding a new stadium on the Metrodome’s site, thus making themselves more money.
The Vikings dont need a Super Bowl win to stay in Minnesota. A solid season has (yes, I said HAS) solidified the fanbase, including those in the state capitol.
Larry Bird18:
“The Vikings are 8-1 and have already clinched the division title for the second year in a row. Oh, and were poised to take the bye and home field advantage in the playoff’s..Hows your team doing?
Boom!”
My team is 9-0.
Boom! Back at you!
Seriously,
The Vikings have just run up against a case of bad timing. If this was two or three years ago when money was not as tight they would probably get their stadium. But it was not crunch time two or three years ago and they did not get what they could have gotten. The “future” was still a few years off.
Now, the Vikings are faced with the very real possibility of staying in the Metrodome (a lousy stadium) for several more years and waiting out the current bad economic times (Change you can believe in bitch!) or move to LA and cash in. I have no idea what will happen, but I suspect that the politicians in Minnesota have not figured out how to pull hundreds of millions of dollars out of thin air. Somebody is going to lose out in this situation. It will be either the taxpayers of Minnesota, the Vikings fans or the Vikings franchise itself. Somehow I get the feeling that it won’t be the Vikings franchise. Especially with an expensive coach under contract.
Either cough up the money for a good indoor stadium (not some piss poor excuse of a stadium like the Metrodome) or watch the Vikings load up the trucks (Mayflower calling?) and head to LA. The owner will not take the financial hit when he has an easy out by going to LA. Isn’t he from New Jersey anyway?
The vikings are setting up a move out of Minnesota.
They rejected an earlier stadium proposal and since then have said no to everything.
They have not attempted any financing and are not cooperating with anyone.
It is plainly evident that the viking want to move the franchise to a more supportive area.
They have trouble selling out the Metrodome even when they win a few games. How could they sell out anything larger?? The Metrodome is the 3rd smallest capacity in the NFL 63,500.
Roskies stadium can generate far more revenue than the Metrodome or the smaller stadium proposed as a replacement.
The vikings are going to move but they can’t really make it official until the expiration of their current lease expires. They viklings haven’t even paid rent for the Metrodome since 2002.
You can be assured that vikings will move and they are doing everything to make it happen.

I was just out having martinis with Ziggy. They got it all figured out. Public should know late December. Relax Viking fans, we are going nowhere. Will be playing in TCF Stadium until the new Viking lair is complete.
@ Ambrose – You are such sissy piece of crap. Chickenfoot was right. Get a life and focus on the team in shambles – The GB Packers. They could use help from all you retarded stock holders.
Oh what, you think you shouldn’t be paying your rent a-holes ? I hope you’re knocked out in the first round of the playoffs you cheap greedy pricks. That would be the best reward for Zygi Wilf given the way he’s been trying to extort a stadium out of the taxpayers.
This is what I’ve been saying for quite some time….the queens are going to move. What their fans don’t realize is that the team is owned by a new yorker who could give two shits whether or not the team is in minneapolis or wherever. Ol’ Zigi only cares about the money….which he should he is the owner, but if you queens fans really think your getting a new stadium your absolutely crazy. MN has a 200+ million dollar deficit and certain cities have unemployment rates around 10% and now you think the public is going to pay for a new stadium that gets used 8 times a year. Good luck with that, oh yeah and it would probably help if the queens fans supported their team when they’re not winning….which they don’t and never have.
LA Vikings 2011
yea right, La the best football market, I just left there …let me see gangs, drugs, racial issues, gangs, rapes, racial issues, oh gay marriage; strike that.. oh taxes up the ass, oh yea gangs yea they r smucks, dirty filthy down town, oh, smog 2 hour drive from Irvine to LA, ahh lets see just started illegals illegals illegals oh but thats ok we’ll just tax more,, hmmm 1 BILLION in the red yea oh I forgot 14% unemployment and yes that’s those legally allowed to work oh I forgot gangs, traffic and the Hollywood elite..
You get the point, yes Minnesota has a bit of these problems but only at 10%
screw LA
KEEP THE VIKES IN MINNI
Zygi needs to sign the lease extension and suck a little wind till the economy gets better. It isn’t hard to understand that when you have bridges giving out a stadium is a tough sell. The fact is Zygi does not have enough money to bankroll a first class operation. The league OK’d his purchase of the Vikings because Red was bailing, and there weren’t a lot of takers. He needs to find a partner of some kind to infuse some cash into the franchise. And he’ll need a few years to do that. I’d be calling Warren Buffett and appealing to his natural instinct to invest in the future while building real wealth. Maybe call on Bill Gates. He could build a stadium with the change in his couch.
Another NFL franchise trying to hold taxpayers hostage. Only in sports are taxpayers expected to foot the bill for a private company facility. Hey, I’ve got an idea, Vikes. Why don’t you raise your own god damn money and pay for the stadium yourself instead of putting everyday people even further into debt for the sole benefit of your enterprise? We should all learn our lesson. Dont let these politicians and creeps use our money to further their own careers.
I get a kick how you haters must sit back and just pray for Florio to write something like this!
Have you seen anything like this mentioned on NFL network, ESPN, or Fox?
No, because they know what it is, its a game, these people don’t become this rich for being idiots.
They are in a great position right now to get more bang for their product, and thats what their doing.
It will boil down to who has the biggest balls.
So ambrose, jimmydipsmith, not only are you two idiots trying to make this sound like it can happen, but you should want them to get the stadium.
I hate the Packers more than anything, if they go on I cheer for the other team to beat them, no matter who it is, (except Dallas, good win) but I would never want the rivalry to ever go away, and I dont see how you would want that either!
Out of all the teams in the NFC north, them two teams have to stay, I think.
Grow up, get over your two loses, and think with your other head.
By the way, the Vikes are going nowhere, you can copy, paste, save my quote, they are going nowhere!

I am a Packer fan who is very jealous of the Vikings. I am such a pathetic POS that I wish a great rival would move. I know it won’t happen though and we will continue to kiss Viking ass. Me and my old lady found a way to upgrade the trailer and get new teeth, sure the Vikes can get a stadium.
@norseman69; I don’t recall anyone saying L.A. was the best football market. It’s the #2 MEDIA market. When it comes to the NFL, the citizens of Los Angeles have proven they could give two #2′s.
Bob Nelson and the other Packer fans are, as usual, whining about Minnesota to divert attention from their own pathetic situation. But JuicyMelon is correct and Florio joins the ranks of whiney titty babies. There is a lot more information out there if Florio would bother to read it. The group that pushed for the Twins stadium is reforming to push for a Vikings stadium and the U is willing to host Vikings’ games at TCF stadium while their stadium is being built (for a price of course). There is going to plenty of posturing before the stadium is built; this is just the first round.
oh yeah, and another thing. these owners expect us to pay for their stadiums, and then they turn around and charge us $25 for a parking spot, force us to buy seat licenses, price tickets at exorbitant rates, and then black out the games being played in the stadium WE paid for when we don’t like it. i say if you want the locals to cough it up for a new place, then show them some respect. include a local resident ticket discount in the new stadium deal, otherwise buy it yourself.

Are you guys serious about the rivalries keeping the Vikes here? If a stadium deal doesn’t get done, Zygi can pack the Vikings bag for them and leave town. Period.
Just a thought. Other than seeing a statue of Paul Bunyan and joining the exploding gay dance scene, is there one thing Minnesota has to offer that Wisconsin doesn’t? I’m serious. All I ever here is how Wisconsin is one big cow town…but there are a million more people, more urban areas…I’ll stop now. I want to hear this.
Packer fans NEED the Vikings to move. Its the only way they will ever see the post season the next decade.
Thanks to their Messiah, Brett Favre, the best team in the NFC Norris will stay in the state of Minnesota.

Minnesota is run by liberals.
They care more about accomodating dead beat welfare abusers and gay rights than top priorities.
Pawlenty can’t approve anything amongst a liberal majority.
We’re already one of the highest taxed states in the nation thanks to the bleeding heart liberals and their bs programs that benefit nobody.

I am a Packers fan who does not want to see the Vikings go , except to the bottom of the division. Growing up outside of Green Bay the first two cursewords I ever heard were “Van” and “Brocklin”. I’ll never forget listening to a breathless radio anouncer trying to keep up with Scramblin’Fran as he beat Green Bay in that first game. (Of course, we went on to the first of Five NFL Championships in Seven years, suck on it Pittsburgh) But you must realize that we hate your guts, and if you have a weakness, we’ll try to rub your nose in it. So get it done! And do a retractable so we can play on a real field! Losers.
@stefanovich; Right now in this country it’s a good idea to build anything we can. There is a benefit. Just don’t get hosed.

I’ll give MN a good muskie scene, but WI is no slouch in that department. We invented it. When it comes to football, the Packers organization could wipe out the entire 60′s and 70′s and still be FAR more successful overall. Your team doesn’t matter until you actually win something.

Ha Ha Ha, stupid Viking fans. Still can’t sell out their stadium even with a HOF QB and an 8-1 record. You don’t deserve an NFL franchise. Maybe you will pay for season tickets once they move to LA, since you will finally realize what you have been missing out once it’s too late. Morons!! As they say, the only weather in Minnesota is fair….because that’s what their fans are!
Look at the Vikings/Packers/Bears rivalry’s that will be thrown in the garbage. Do you really think some of the highest ratings in NFL history (even before Favre) would be dumped in favor of a move?
—————————————————-
If the fans of Minnesota weren’t such pricks, I might care if they stayed or left. But then again, I know there’s a lot of Packers fans that I’m embarrassed to be associated with.
I guess I do enjoy the rivalry with Minnesota. Its suppose to be a Packer/Bear rivalry in the NFC North, but since Chicago hasn’t put a decent team on the field in the last 24 years(with the exception of a few years ago when they went to the SB), its been kinda nice to have Minnesota to give Green Bay challenges every year. If it wasn’t for Minnesota, football would be too easy. Kinda like the AFC East and the Patriots.
Minnesota fans, you guys need to do something to keep your team around. You can’t just let your NFL franchise leave for LA of all places. Because we all know you’ll never see another franchise again in your lifetime, if ever. California has enough NFL teams. Let the small town cities keep one of the few things they charish.
Go Pack!

Dairyland Drunks sweetheart, just a friendly little jab at my cheese lovin, beer drinkin sconnie neighbors. We love the Vikings here, last years playoff game was the only time we have ever came close to a blackout in the playoffs. It was a perfect storm, the economy in the crapper, we didnt know if we would even make the playoffs until the last play of the last game and alot of season ticket holders didn’t buy there seats for the playoffs leaving alot of expensive premium seats for sale. It was actually pretty impressive that our fans really stepped up and bought those expensive playoff seats to sit in a horrible stadium with horrible sightlines (trust me its bad) with the amount of premium seats that were left and only 5 days to sell them.
I’m still waiting for the GB FATTIE to respond, but meanwhile…Bigskyvikes, are you F$$cking KIDDING me??? Bitter babies, get a clue… & that is in response to…what??Exactly? Vikings Do win…right now. By about wk, oh…15 or 16, Favre starts crapping out, losses start piling up. IF they get into the playoffs, THEY R 1 & done. That is the story for the Vikings. Then next year, Favre can start all over again pulling the same ole crap, Chillie can pull the same ole crap,…..Blah,blah.
LOL at Vikings fans acting like they deserve a stadium. Your squad needed a freakin’ extension to avoid a blackout of a home playoff game for Christ’s sakes. You’re in danger of having games blacked out again this year with a winning team. You’re not there when the Vikes are losing, and you’re not there when they’re winning either. And unfortunately for you guys (and Childress)…..Favre is 40, not 20. And you have no franchise QB groomed and in place.
But on the bright side………..the weather in Los Angeles is nice this time of year. And don’t think your team is special. If teams like the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Colts can be moved…..so can the Vikings.

TAKE IT TO THE CAPITAL AND PAWLENTYS OFFICE……..T hat is the only way the vikings well stay ,You will have to threaten the minnesota goverment with getting fired on the next election……… I know don’t say it LMAO YA RIGHT …… Never Happen “Can you say Los Angeles Vikings ”
I am enjoying now being a Steelers Fan go big Ben ……
Gypsie
I am enjoying now being a Steelers Fan go big Ben

Just curious. Why would you stop being a Vikes fan when it’s not the fans fault if a stadium gets built or not? Also why the Steelers, wanted to get a super bowl that badly… LMAO, tool!
Perhaps we should make a statewide commitment to the NFL, setting an example for other state and cities in that should the Vikings leave, that will NEVER allow the NFL back. I’m tired of this bullshit, I’ve been a fan for over 40 years and the NFL does not respect an once for what we the fans in Minnesota along with our history have to to help build the game to the level where it is today. The NFL crapped on the fans in Baltimore, Cleveland and Los Angeles. What a bunch of Greedy creeps. It’s all about what you have done for me lately and I think it STINKS. The NFL isn’t what it use to be and all thats left is this traveling circus.

When it comes to football, the Packers organization could wipe out the entire 60′s and 70′s and still be FAR more successful overall. Your team doesn’t matter until you actually win something.
===================================
Another Packer that must cling to a past that only the elderly care about! lol I live in the present.
….Nice Musky take. Too bad I don’t have the urge to fish them. I actually do very well in WI,both states have great fishing. Hawg waldos in De Pere,Lake WI saugers fun trips. Over all take MN though.
Pervy…thanks for the acknowledgement. It confirms the point I was making of how so many of you “fans” have nothing to say except grade school level childish insults. And Chickenhead hasn’t had an original thought in weeks….all he is capable of doing is copying somebody else’s stuff and attempting to insult same. Smells like sophomore year dropout, give or take.
And I truly don’t want the Vikings to leave, but reality is what it is. There is too much money involved to think it can’t happen. Sentimentality doesn’t mean anything to these guys.
And regarding my team? We’ll be just fine. You may have the (fortunate) wins under your belt, and a win is a win is a win. But the Packers performances will catch up to their stat’s soon enough and just in time. Our QB and offense is on a par with yours (long term even better) and our defense is already better. We’ll see you at the end……and without any private ownership “will they or won’t they” distractions.

Breath, come on breath.
This cant be the first time you were put in your place, judging by your uneducated responses.
You hang in there, big fella, oooor whatever.
@ Ambrose – Grade school insults are what grade school football takes deserve. You and that SB or nothing and Favre will be a Doosh??Beating that LA drum? You must have been the rich kid in high school huh? The tool in the Izod and penny loafers with collar up who tried to be a jock. That had to smile like a puppet when the real athletes like me made the headlines and screwed yo’ rich girlfriends. I smell milk toast a mile away, you my Biffy lil guy,are one.
Ambrose you jack ass. It’s called cutting and pasting. You know, you copy the post, so people can follow who you are speaking too?
All your proclamations mean nothing, it’s what you hope happens, you have a .500 team and you are bashing the 2nd seed in the conference?
Pervy is right, you get back what you put out there. You post moronic blather, you are going to get put in your place.
My insults are directed at anyone who deserves them, 99% of you packer fans have to be the biggest idiots I;ve ever seen.
1st it was Brett would never play for the Vikes.
2nd, well he will suck, he’s over the hill.
3rd the Pack will kick your ass twice.
4th It’s all because of Brett you are winning
5th hewill break down
6th he’s an interception machine
7th he will choke, the Vikes will choke
8th the Vikes are moving
That about cover every post you ever made?
1,2,5,6……are all wrong
2,4….which is it? I haven’t seen flip flopping like this since Jimmysmith was trying to to decde to come out of the closet or not!
7,8
If your predictions are on, then it looks as if these 2 will be wrong too.
Quit posting. I’d be ashamed of myself if i were you, you make yourself out to be such a moron on this site. Anyone with any intelligence is laughing at your posts. You aren’t just dumb, your painfully dumb.
Give it up, get a life , and find something else to debate….football is not your subject.
That is painfully obvious!
Hey, Pervy….don’t assume I am rich simply because I can spell. And I have been an athlete, and remain one today, for longer than I care to remember. Do you live in the Twin Cities? I will be there next weekend…we could meet for a beer and you could see for yourself. No threats, no “gay” crap (I have been happily married for a long time.) I’m serious, do you want to meet for a beer, get to know one another, and drop this crap? There is a place on Washington…I think it is called Grumpy’s (?) If not, have a great Thanksgiving.
Hey Chickenhead…I thought the point of all the banter and trash talk was to pimp each other and get under each other’s skin. Looks like I won.
My brother has been there. Great toilet facilities he says.
angry:
I have taken a grumpy at Grumpy’s. They are very nice facilities,
RELAX MY PURPLE BROTHERS>>>>OUR PURPLE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE>.
They have stuff in the works and it is too important to the state…..They will remain here for long time….Bet on it!!!
ambrose i dont know if it possible to argue football with a fanbase so insecure about their team leaving and not having won a championship. you may want to stay on the packer threads tho they do sneak over there too.
mnmaverick,
Keep the insults personal, not political.

I detest the Vikings and their bandwagon jumpin fans (the real fans are almost tolerable)But as a Green and Gold bleeding fan of the Packers I don’t want the Vikings to leave Minnesota. Because living in the land of frozen Tundra the hate kinda keeps you warm
ambrose I agree with you on your opinioins. werre we seperated at birth. i am a big believer inted thompson and his phiolosophy. the vikings are all in as you say. if they dont win it all it is a epic failure. green bay will be good for year to come beacuse of the way thompson is buliding this team.

chicky:
Stick to Cosmo and True Romance. You have no clue about football. o look to Ambrose as the voice of reason is pathetic.
It’s fans like you that buy into everything, why the Packers are where they at, a .500 team.
If you are happy with that, more power to you.
By the way, none of us are insecure about them moving, it’s not going to happen.
Not insecure about the lack of titles either.
We aren’t the ones that cling to decades old hardware like your fanbase does.
Lol, bring in a QB that had gas left in the tank because he was better than what’s on the roster, and to not win the SB is an epic failure?
How? It makes no sense. Minnesota is in great cap shape, whether you like it or not, Favre will be back next year.
You like how Teabag is buliding that team?
Kampman= FA
Driver = FA
Woodson and Harris will be 33 and 35!
Hawk = Bust
Raji = Fail
Harrel =Fail
Offensive line = “Epic Fail”
You need:
2cb’s
Rush LB
Another DL
2 RB’s
WR
K ( Bing Crosby is horrible)
4 OL
Other than that , Teabag has built a real Powerhouse!
Get used to 6-10 to 9-7, that is all TT and MM are good for.
Go paint your nails or get your hair done, you don’t know shit about football!
Chickenhead….
We have the youngest team in the league and a defense that is better than yours.

And Favre can play at 40 but our guys can’t at 33? How does that work?
Kampman…trade him..don’t need him.
Driver…not going anywhere.
Hawk…can give Matthews an effective spell once in awhile.
Raji..hasn’t played enough yet. Big things are coming from that guy.
Harrell…never had him, won’t miss him.
OL…very deficient but somehow the offense is statistically on par with the Vikings. Hummm……
crosy is good. his misses have allbeen over50yards. they dont need what you think they need. thats obcene. evryone is in great cap shape. there may not be a cap next year. could ruin teams that go out and overspend. my team is over 500. my husband told me 5-4 is over 500. i work in the cities. from what i hear there will be no publicly funded stadium for the vikings. they will have to stay where they are or hello la. ambrose is the only person on here that doesnt throw insults and sounds intelligent. supersucker is good but plays too many head games. suprised at how he wins most of them. i got him though. not suprised i guess considering his competition.
it is a epic failure because like what ambrose said they are all in. farve may or may not be back next year but his body is going to give out at somepoint probably come this december then what?
@ angrychicken
Super-cut it out!
Nice to meet you angrychicky….
ambroseyou havehad most intelligent remarks on site. i appreciate your knowledge and areeasily the best of the peoples on here. thompson has gb in right direction. minnesota has to win this year or viking fans may be suicidal.
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not again!!!!!!!!
@ Ambrose- Damn, glad I was fishing today, this thread is whack! LOL I’m going to be real busy, but thanks for the offer. Listen Ambrose, I believe you are what you say you are and don’t be offended by the shit I spit back. I’m just a die hard hard Viking fan that can’t stand them getting raked. I love to talk smack and even get it back. Chickenfoot said it perfectly,a place to blow some steam and even attempt humor. I have have never laughed as much in my life as the short time I have been on here. Just sling it back bro, I don’t take any thing serious I’m called on here. Be bad for the health. Do love love beer though! lol
